Chapter 6: The New Students and the Villain.

"Hey! Tom! I made it on time for once," Daniel said as he walked over to Tom who was standing by the school gate.

"Daniel?! I wasn't expecting you to be on time," Tom said.

"Are you waiting for someone?"

"No. Sarah and Mia are already inside. I just take a few minutes to stand out here every morning before going in."

"Let's go ahead and get in there," Daniel said as he started to walk toward the school.

"Wait for me!" Tom said as he caught up with Daniel.

"Hey, Tom?"

"What?"

"Who's that girl over there?" Daniel asked, pointing to someone with long hair that started black up top and became a dark red as it went down. They also wore a dark red t-shirt and black pants. They wore one long dark red glove and one short dark red glove. They had a necklace with a red gem attached to it and had red eyes with a shade over their eyes. They also had dark red wings on their back and dark red shoes.

"That's not a girl."

"What?!"

"That's Icarus. The hero of the sky. He's famous."

"No wonder I didn't recognize him," Daniel said as he turned to his locker and opened it.

"Alex!" A female voice yelled.

"Rats," Icarus said as someone ran over and hugged him. The girl had dark red hair that went black as it went down. She had a purple t-shirt and black tights. She also had two short dark red gloves and dark red shoes. Like Icarus, she had a necklace with a red gem attached to it, dark red wings, and red eyes, but she also had dark red horns that spiraled. "Get off of me."

"No! You flew off without me and left me behind!" The girl hugging him said.

"I said get off, Lucy! We're surrounded by strangers," Icarus, who must have been Alex, said.

"Oh. I forgot. Sorry, Alex," Lucy said.

"Whatever. Let's just get to class. Wherever that is."

"Do you know who that was?" Tom asked excitedly.

"Icarus and his girlfriend?"

"NO! That was Alex and Lucy or Icarus and Firewing. Twins who have similar powers but really different powers and personalities."

"Oh."

"I'll see you in class dude," Tom said as he ran to class.

"Hey! Daniel!" someone said, taunting him.

"Oh no. What is it, Bradly? Not here to try and bully me again, are you? I mean last time that ended pretty bad for you right?"

"That was last time. You still want to save people right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I heard you don't have a power so how are you going to deal with something like this?" Bradley said as he turned his body into steel.

"Crud."

"Leave him alone!" Sarah yelled.

"What are you going to do about it? Make me float while your boyfriend runs away?"

"Leave her alone! You want me right?"

"Yes but she needs to be taught a lesson." He said walking towards her.

"Leave them alone!" Someone yelled.

"That voice sounds familiar," Daniel said.

"Who are you?"
