So when Hyejin's mom and Tae left, she was 8 and he was 6. So with 10 years later, it's hard for the two siblings to recognize each other.

10 years have passed since that event. Hyejin woke up remembering her little brother and mom walking out the door safe and sound. But she woke up to a nightmare. Looking around her so-called room, really a closet, she reminisces on what her life used to be. Fun, happy, laughter, and love. But now, the house was filled with abuse, crying, cutting, and hatred.
Her closet consisted of her bed made of comforters; plastic bags to hold her clean and dirty clothes, and her dad's clothes that are hung on the rack. Luckily, her dad let her have half of the closet instead of a quarter of it.
Once she took a step out of the closet, the smell of drugs and alcohol filled the air. Having to hold her nose, she quickly made her way to the bathroom. Quick shower, apply makeup, and brushing her teeth, she made her way out of the house as quickly as possible. She is attending her last year of high school, thankfully her dad let her continue.
But school was no better. She didn't have bullies nor friends; just an outcast. Hyejin never knew why people didn't want to befriend her but she told herself it's better that way. People won't learn of her life and they won't leave because of it.
Entering school grounds, there was a lot of commotion going on and she wasn't sure why but didn't want to stay. Quickly making her way to class, she was the first one seated.
The bell rang and students began to enter the class, everyone was gossiping so Hyejin heard bits of conversations here and there:
"Did you see them? They're so hot!"
"I can't believe they'll be attending our school!"
"I will marry him. That is my plan."
But the eavesdropping was no help as to who these mysterious people were.
Few minutes passed and their teacher came in, "Okay class please calm down. I know you are all excited about the new students but I need you all to hold it in."
The door opened revealing 3 handsome boys in the uniform, so they must be the new students everyone is talking about.
"Please introduce yourselves,"
The boy with blonde hair went first, "Hello everyone, I'm Park Jimin. I hope we can all get along,"
Next was one with black hair, "I'm Jeon Jungkook, please treat us normal here."
Last was a brown hair boy that gave Hyejin familiar vibes, "My name is Kim Taehyung, please don't bother us with fan stuff."
Hyejin and Taehyung made eye contact but she looked away first, not wanting to get on their bad side if they will be the most popular students here.

After her first class, she waited for everyone to leave to start packing up. She didn't like being around the crowd after being pushed around for not being seen. But unknown to her, it was the same for another student. Park Jimin.
He was staring at her for some reason, he felt drawn to her. So he did what anyone else would do, "Hi I'm Jimin. What's your name?"
