17: Resolution

School was the same as yesterday, but Hyejin really could not go to the bathroom without one of the guys with her. She felt embarrassed but was also thankful, since they're just looking out for her. 

During their lunch, no one knew where Jimin went and as Taehyung grabbed his phone to call him, Jimin came bursting through the door. "So Jimin hyung where did you go?" Jungkook asked as he was cleaning up his food.

"Well you remember how Hyejin said those girls were looking for her from before? I talked to one of them about the email and they forwarded it to me. I read it and my gosh, look at this."

Dear students,

As requested by Kim Hyejin, please do not disturb Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook. They are here to study and not to play so give them their space. As my instruction, even one glance at them will get you expelled, unless they talk to you first. The teachers have received specific instruction so follow the rule and no one gets in trouble.

This email is not being sent to those named so do not share it with them.

"He really said it was my request. I can't believe him! I haven't done anything to him that he knows my name or to even use my name like that." Hyejin was pissed. She was silent all these years and now she gets in trouble for something she never asked.

"Not only that, he was going to the length of expelling students. We really need to talk about this with Bang PD as soon as possible." Taehyung said and glanced over to Jimin who was tapping on his phone. "But jokes on him, we got the email." Jungkook said.

"I also forwarded the email to Namjoon hyung so hopefully he gets a response from Bang PD soon," Jimin put his phone down and saw Hyejin, "don't worry Hyejin. We'll solve this problem as a team okay? We're all affected in this and it isn't your fault."

"Thanks Jimin."

BTS has a group chat with Hyejin in it so Namjoon sent a text telling them to go to the company as soon school is done. Which is where they are now.

"So what's the problem now?" Bang PD said and Hyejin began to explain. "That doesn't make sense. I didn't mention you at all to the principal. So I'm not sure why he included you in the email to the student body."

"He also didn't send us the email. So I'm sure he did this behind your back." Jimin said as he showed the email to Bang PD. His eyebrows furrowed and then he held his hand over his mouth. 

"I'm glad you got proof of this email or else I wouldn't be able to confront him about it. But this time, I am going to print it on paper of what I've requested."

"But why do you think he used my name as the requester?" 

"I'm not sure, there could be many reasons. He picked a random name; he knew you're a smart student and didn't get into trouble; or he knows you personally and used your name for malicious reasons," Bang PD said as he opened his laptop to type up a formal contract. "I will also let our lawyer read this because no more Mr. Nice Guy."

Yoongi sat next to Hyejin and he was holding her hand under the table. Giving her a small squeeze she looked at him, "See? PD-nim has your back so you don't have to worry anymore. The guys will be okay, they're strong and let's be honest. They've been through worse so this is nothing to them. And I know you're strong too so you got this."

She nodded and mouthed a 'thank you' for his words. "Hyejin, like I told you, you're a part of this family now so please don't worry okay?"

"Okay thank you so much sir. You have no idea how comforting it is to hear that." She said as she felt a tear coming and despite trying to hold it in, she failed.

"Noona don't cry! You're going to make me cry." Taehyung said as he began to hug his sister who broke down in his arms. The guys understood why she was crying and felt for her, Bang PD was happy to see she is doing better. He recently became aware of the sibling's family situation through sources, but he won't discuss it with them until they come to him first.

"You know what, tomorrow is Friday. I'm giving all of you a three day weekend. So yes, that means the four of you I'm allowing you to miss school."

"Really PD-nim! Thank you so much!" Hoseok said as everyone cheered and gave each other high-fives. Hyejin recovered from crying and was glad to have met Taehyung again and some awesome people.

After the meeting, they all agreed to eat out so they were heading home first to let the maknae line and Hyejin change their clothes. In the car, Hyejin sat in the back with Yoongi on one side and Taehyung on the other.

Yoongi looked over to see Taehyung dozing off so he used this to his advantage. He tapped Hyejin and signaled for her ear, "Since you and I have the day off tomorrow, do you want to go out on our date then? I'm sure the guys might think of doing something on Saturday and maybe Sunday, as a group."

"Yeah that works for me. I can't wait." The two smiled and then looked away, trying not to get caught. But they were by Jin who was sitting in the front as he was looking in the rearview mirror. 

A few minutes later and their manager dropped them off at their buildings. Each going to their appropriate place, Taehyung wanted to go with Hyejin so she wasn't alone but knew he had to change as well. Hyejin entered her building and saw the elevator doors closing so she caught it before it did. Inside were who she assumed to be strangers, but were instead her fellow neighbor.

"Hi, you live in xxx correct?"

"Um...who are you?"

"I'm sorry, my name is Ms. Jinwoo and this is my husband Mr. Jinyoung. We live next door to you in xxx. We've seen you from time to time and figured you lived next to us because it was the only vacant room on the floor."

"Oh hello, I'm sorry. I'm a bit shy so I haven't met my neighbors since I've moved in." She bowed to them and they had a small conversation going up until they got to their doors. "It was nice meeting you Hyejin. If you need anything feel free to ask." Jinwoo said.

"Thank you so much Ms. Jinwoo, I'll keep that in mind. It was nice meeting you both as well." The couple entered their place first then Hyejin insider hers. She ran straight to her room to figure out what to wear and since they were going out, she figured to go outfit shopping for tomorrow.

After freshening up, she got dressed in her usual clothes and left again to meet the guys downstairs. In the elevator, she was almost to the first floor when someone came in from the fifth. Before the doors closed, she got out and acted like she meant to. Hyejin doesn't trust strangers, especially older men who remind her of her dad. So she took the stairs.

Thankfully it was only five flight of stairs and not more, but she was very tired once she got out. Not even five minutes passed for Hyejin to catch her breath, that the guys came out. "Whoa Hyejin, you look like you've been working out." Namjoon said and Jin smacked him, "You can't just say that, it's not very nice."

"It's alright Jin. I sort of was anyways, I took five flight of stairs."

"Eh! Why?" Hoseok was shocked, even though he dances a lot professionally, stairs are torture.

"I'll explain later, let's get food first." BTS' manager pulled up and everyone got in, excited to go out and to start off their three day weekend the right way with the right people.
