26: Final Decision

Two hours passed and it was already dinner time. "I never realized it took this much work to make a song. I will never hate on another song. This is amazing Yoongi, really."

Yoongi smiled feeling shy all of a sudden, "It's really nothing. But thank you Hyejin." He turned his chair to face her, "So what do you think about producing music? Think it might be something you're interested in?"

"I don't think so. But I think I have an idea of what I'd like to try more of."

"What is it?"

"Well I'm not going to tell you. I want to tell everyone at the same time since they are helping me out as well."

"Alright, fair enough. Then I'll give them a call and we can all go out to eat."

At the restaurant, they got a private room to freely discuss. "Come on Noona, we're dying to know which one you're interested in."

"Calm down Tae. I'll tell you guys."

Everyone leaned in their seat closer, eager to hear. "I think I'd like to try designing. It was fun to make something out of nothing and that the possibilities are endless with it."

Taehyung and Jungkook gave each other a high five. "That's good you found something you like. We're happy for you Hyejin." Namjoon said and Hyejin was thankful to have met this group of people.

"Now let's celebrate for our future designer!" Hoseok said as everyone raised their champagne, cokes, and water glasses.

Shortly after the food arrived and everyone was talking, eating at the same time unlike the usual quietness over food.

"So do you think you'll go to an arts school for designing?" Hoseok asked as he took another sip of his champagne.

"Maybe. But I'll first have to see what I can afford. If I can't get in after high school then I'll just work for awhile to save up." Hyejin casually said it, not thinking that Taehyung might want to help his sister.

"Noona, you know I can help you right? Let me pay for your college tuition, please? I want to do something for you and this can be it!"

"No Tae, that's too much. You're talking about college, it's not like the tuition is a measly $100."

"I know that Noona, we all do. But I want to do this as your little brother. You saved my life a long time ago by sending me away with mom. So please, let me repay you." Taehyung began to pout and put on his begging face, the other members have seen it plenty of times and knew they couldn't resist it.

Seeing someone else on the receiving end of it was funny, "Alright fine Tae, just stop it with the face." Taehyung smiled wide and then gave his sister a hug who reciprocated. 

After dinner they all went back to their buildings, except for Yoongi. He walked Hyejin back to her place.

"Thank you for walking me back. I'll see you later," she began to open her door when Yoongi closed it. Placing his hand on the door, blocking one side. "Um, Yoongi? What are you doing?"

"I need to ask you something very important."

Hyejin was confused why he looked a little shy, then it clicked. She felt her cheeks warm up and her heart beating faster. Yoongi let out a breath and then looked at her eyes, "Hyejin, will you be my muse?"

Hyejin felt her heart beat lessen and her cheeks cooling, "Be your muse? What do you mean by that?"

"I mean, will you be around me when I work so I can get inspiration from you?"

"But why me? There's nothing to get inspiration from."

"There's a lot, you just don't see it. So will you be my muse?"

"Yeah, okay." Yoongi flashed his gummy smile and gave her a hug, he felt relieved thinking she would reject the idea. "Thank you so much Hyejin. I will see you tomorrow then!"

Hyejin was still a little bit confused, she had to ask Taehyung about it later.

"He asked you to be his muse!" Taehyung yelled getting the attention of a few classmates nearby. Hyejin pulled her brother down and shushed him, "I don't want the whole school to know!" 

"I'm sorry, but that's great! It means you two get to hang out more, then feelings will deepen, and then you two will be together!"

Hyejin stared at him as he rattled on, "You've been thinking about this haven't you?"

"Maybe."

"Look just tell me, why is it a big thing? He said being his muse he'll pull inspirations from me. I'm honored for sure, but I don't know if I should be thinking about it differently."

"Well Noona are you wanting it to be different?"

"I don't know."

"The way I see it is, he likes you a lot so of course he wants to get your ideas and thoughts on things so you will inspire his music." Jimin joined the conversation as the siblings weren't being very quiet about it.

"Hyejin," Jungkook leaned over his table, "use these times to get closer to hyung than you ever did before."

"Alright class, let's get started."

Everyone quieted down and began to listen, except for Hyejin whose thoughts were on Yoongi.

"So Noona are you excited about today?"

"I guess? I think I'm just nervous."

"Don't be. Think of it as hanging out, nothing will occur, unless you do something." Jungkook said as he ate his tteobokki. 

"Yeah, you're right. It's just us hanging out and I'm simply going to help him out on his music. But I know nothing about music! How can I help him if I know nothing about it?"

"Don't worry about it Noona. He's not asking you to help in producing, simply help him with his thoughts on it is all. Plus, while he's doing work you can use this time to begin on your portfolio."

"Portfolio for what?"

"For your art school. You need a portfolio to showcase your work and that you're serious about it."

"Oh okay. So I'm assuming I should start designing things now?"

"Yeah pretty much."

"Well then, I'll have to go to the store after school."

"Why?" Jimin asked. "I don't have any of the things to even start making a portfolio." Hyejin casually said yet again, not realizing the three feel bad for her.

"We can you take you right now. We won't really miss anything in the next classes anyways." Jungkook said as he helped Jimin up and Taehyung helped Hyejin up.

"Oh wow, you three are going to skip? Wait, that's not surprising. I'm skipping!" Hyejin has never missed a class before and she didn't want to do it now. "Noona, nothing will happen. It'll be alright. You've never missed a class before so it's not like the teachers will hate you for it."

"No, you guys can't make me skip! I have a perfect attendance record and I won't break it now on my last year!"
