The song would best be played whenever you get to when Kaiden sits in front of Tivelly's house.

KAIDEN POV

Chapter name: A horror eyes can't unsee

I lay my head down on my desk, ignoring Case and Grey as they bicker about my next fight. I feel a tap on my shoulder and open my tired eyes. I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night.

I turn my head to the person that is so desperate for my attention they need it at eight-thirty in the fucking morning. Kate stands in front of me, looking as awkward as ever. This better not be another stupid confession. I rejected her first already.

"It's Tivelly. Tivelly Cooper?" She asks, sitting at the empty desk next to me. She places her book bag on the floor, her eyes not leaving mine. I lift my head off the desk, rubbing my red cheek, "What?" I question, holding back a yawn.

She awkwardly looks at Jayce, who is just as tired as I am, as he stares at her. "You like Tivelly Cooper." She states. I see Jayce suddenly awaken more, his eyes going wider as he rubs them, trying to understand what Kate said fully.

"Why would you think that?" I ask. This girl is right, I do like Tivelly, but I am curious about how she knows that. "Y... you... well, you're nicer now. Before you met her, you were always insulting. You wouldn't even be talking to me right now, I bet. And just the way I see you look at her." She looks away as she reveals how she knows this. "And... I see how you look after her... like you did two days ago."

That was two days ago? Right... I stayed home yesterday... playing video games and training for tonight's fight. "How was she yesterday?" I ask, assuming Kate watches Tivelly as much as she watches me.

"Ok, class, settle down now so I can start. You kids are going to make me quit this hell hole." The teacher starts writing on the marker board, annoyed at how loud her class is. Kate glances at the teacher as the class quiets down.

She leans in, trying not to get caught speaking, "She wasn't here yesterday. I was guessing that you two skipped together or something since you both are absent a lot." Her voice is low, making Jayce lean over his desk to hear.

As I hear that, I immediately want to leave to check on her. This morning in the hall, everyone was here but her. I assumed that she would be late but knowing that she wasn't here yesterday makes me wonder if she is really late.

"Was she not with you...?" She suddenly looks concerned as she notices my expression. I turn to Case, who is still speaking with Grey. "I need you to rush to Tivellys house; I can give you the address on your way." I would go myself, but if I do that, I will risk getting expelled since I've been missing so many days.

He nods, immediately standing up to leave, "Isn't she at Leos?" He asks. "I have a feeling she's at her house," I respond, thinking of our argument two days ago. "What are you doing, Mr. Collier?" The teacher sternly asks as Case picks up his backpack. "I have to take a major shit; I can't hold it in anymore." He responds bluntly as I toss him my keys.

"Pheobe and Able... were they here?" I ask Kate. "I think so. Is something wrong? Is Tivelly in danger?" She seems more concerned as I make a bigger deal about it.

I lay my head back on my desk, trying to keep myself calm and keep myself from just leaving to find Tivelly.

It's crazy how close we have become. She was a drunk girl that was about to jump on a bridge when I met her. I would always see her in school, sometimes looking tired and sometimes looking happy. I could tell there was something more beyond the surface, but I still thought she would be a spoiled brat.
