Chapter 3

After a while, the 4 of them landed in London.

"You 3 annoying people stay here. I'm going to talk to them...alone." Nat said as she walked out and headed to Jane's apartment. The three men didn't argue because they know Nat and Bruce's history and it would be easier if she went alone, so they sat there in silence. Well Bucky sat in silence staring at Sam while he made jokes, which were not funny, and Steve tried to talk him out of it.

Nat knocks on the door and Jane opens the door confused.

"Uh hello?"

"Hi. Are Bruce and Thor here?" Nat said with a smile.

"Uh- yeah. Yeah, this way." "Jane said,  as she lead Nat to the kitchen.

"Hi...Thor...Bruce." Nat said as she enters the kitchen.

Thor drops his pop tart and runs to Nat and gives her a huge bear hug.

"Ah Lady Nat! It's so good to see you! How've you been?" Thor asked as he put her down.

"Ow" Nat mumbled, before she tells them she's fine.

"What are you doing here Nat?" Bruce asked knowing she didn't come to say hi.

"Look, I hate to interrupt but we have a huge army of super soldiers and we need your help." Nat said,  almost begging.

"Nat..." Bruce warned.

"I know okay, I don't know for sure if you have to 'hulk-out' but we do need you to be our medic if anything happens, okay we wouldn't have come if it wasn't important, you know that." Nat said, trying to reason with him.

"We? Who else is here?" Thor asked while finishing his pop tart.

"Cap, Wilson, and Barnes." Nat said.  "Look we don't have all day, either you're coming or not."

"I'm coming with you Lady Nat." Thor said proudly as he reached his hand out and opens his hand for Jonathan. ;)

"Good good, you do that...uhm Bruce? How about you?" Nat asked with hope in her voice.

Bruce sighed and looked down before speaking, "Yeah...yeah I'll go since Thor is going."

"Alright good, whenever Thor is done..doing whatever...he's doing...uh- head to the jet." Nat said looking confused as Thor is just literally standing there reaching for nothing. Then she gave Bruce a silent nod and walked out.

"Uh what are you doing Thor?

"Waiting for my hammer, what does it look like?"

"O-okay... Well hurry up." Bruce said as he leaves to gather his things.

"Come on you filthy hammer! COME ON!" Thor shouted, just then Jonathan came flying through till it collides with his hand.

"AH HA!! I KNEW YOU WERE STILL WORKING!" Thor said happily as he says goodbye to Jane and meets up with Bruce and they make their way to the jet.

"Ah hello you mortals, Thor of Asgard has arrived!" Thor announced. and everyone gives him a nod, acknowledging that he was there.

"Where to next Cap?" Sam asked as everyone begins buckling up.

"To get the most powerful witch on Earth, and the genius, playboy, philanthropist, of course." Steve said with none other than a smirk.

"Yeah you've definitely been hanging with Fury too much." Nat said as she rolls her eyes and puts her legs out to get more comfortable.

After a couple of hours they are back in New York, but they make their way to New Jersey first.

"Alright, Nat and I will go and the rest of you stay here. Got it?" Steve announced in his leader voice, and everyone nods.

Once they make their way towards Wanda's Cabin, they knock and after a while Wanda opens it.

"H-Hi" Her thick sokovian shining through.

"Hey Wanda, how are you?" Nat said sweetly, she still thinks of Wanda as a younger sister.

"Well, as good as I can be....let me grab some stuff and I'll meet you in the jet." She said with a smirk.

"H-how" Steve stuttered.

Wanda simply chuckles as she points to her head, and walks away.

"I told you to stop doing that!" Nat shouted after her, and Wanda just laughed even harder.

"It's good to see her smiling...after Vision-"

"I know Steve...but Wandas strong...and we're always here for her. Let's not dwell on the past." Nat said empathetically while giving Steve a pat on his shoulder.

A few minutes later, Wanda comes out and says she's ready and they all make their way back to the jet, and make their way to New York to have a chat with the genius himself...

Tony Stark.

Everyone this time goes, because frankly Tony needs more persuasion than anyone, since he was in very critical condition since the snap.

When they get there Pepper is out front playing with Morgan and once she sees them, she tells Morgan to go inside.

"Hey Pepper," Nat said with a smile.

"Hi...uhm- Tony is in the living room. Want me to tell him to come out?"  Pepper asked knowing they all came for him.

"Yes thank you." Steve said. 

After some yelling was heard, mostly from Tony. He walks out. His beard wasn't shaved and he honestly looked a mess.

"Well well well, if it isn't the Avengers. The people who I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING FOR AND NOT ONCE DID I GET A VISIT! HA isn't that funny!" Tony practically yelled. 

"Tony.."

"Don't 'Tony' me Steve. What do you want. HUH? " Tony said with a harsh tone.

"Tony...there is a group of super soldiers, no an army of them and they need to be stopped...Tony we need you." Bruce stepped up and tries to tell him.

"And you wanna know what I need? I need all these damn medications so I don't have another panic attack thinking I'm going to die or-or all these images that keep me up at night. Literal nightmares, I need these to stop so I don't care what you need, it's what I need!!" Tony said as his breath begins to pick up. He slows his breathing by taking deep breaths and then said with a lighter tone, "I just- I just don't know if I'm....capable of helping. I'm-Im sorry."

All the avengers waiting outside give Tony a sympathetic look and they all glance at each other knowing they'll have to do this without him.

"Alright Tony, we understand. Everyone back to the jet."

While everyone heads back to the jet, Tony whispered ,

"I truly am sorry Cap." Thanks to Steve's enhanced hearing, he heard Tony and sighs. "I know" and with that he begins to walk away towards the jet, heading back to the Avengers Compound.
