Chapter 30

Nyx pulled back from the hug, and tilted her head at him.

Bucky noticed her staring and gave her a confused look.

"What?"

"You cut your hair." Nyx said, more as a statement.

Bucky laughed at her, "Yeah, it's been like 3 months."

Nyx squinted her eyes at him, debating if she likes it.

"Do you not like it?" He asked her.

"I do..." Nyx trailed off.

"But...?"

"How am I supposed to pull your hair, when we have sex?" She asked and Bucky rolled his eyes.

Bucky's hair was much shorter now, it looked more like it did in the forties. Bucky cut it like that because it's much easier to handle.

Bucky carefully placed her on his lap, so now she was straddling him. He moved so he was kissing her neck and kissed up to her ear. He stopped and whispered, "How about we try and find out."

He nibbled on her ear and she laughed.

"Nice try Barnes, nice try." She grabbed his face with both hands, making him look at her. She gently kissed his lips and then pulled back. She softly caressed his face and smiled at him.

"If I find out that you kissed someone else with these lips while I was gone, I'll murder you and her." She whispered the last part as she kissed him again.

Bucky's hands found its way to her waist, gently holding her steady.

"Very funny." He said as he went to kiss her again but she pulled back, narrowing her eyes at him.

"I wasn't joking."

"I know." Bucky pushed her closer to him and was able to kiss her again, before someone cleared their throat. Bucky groaned and huffed as Nyx carefully slid off of him and sat back down on the couch, placing her legs over his.

"Later, you big baby." She whispered at him and he smiled.

"Hey guys. How are you feeling, Nyx?" Sam asked as he sat on the sofa across from them.

"I've been better."

"So I don't want to pressure you into anything, but whenever you want to talk, I'll be here to listen."

"I know, thank you." Nyx said as she gave him a soft smile.

"Anytime."

"I'm so hungry." Nyx complained. Sam got up from his seat and grabbed a muffin that was on the table and tossed it to her.

"Here ya go." He said as he also grabbed the trashcan and placed it near her.

She rolled her eyes at him and he laughed as he sat back down. She took a bite of the muffin and let out a soft moan, she hasn't eaten anything this good in a long time.

"Holy fuck, this is so good."

Bucky and Sam laughed at her and she continued to eat.

"So Sam, tell me what you've been up to." Nyx asked as she bit into her muffin.

"Well, I met this girl-"

"Sam, I'm serious." Nyx cut him off.

He tilted his head, "So am I, so shut up."

Nyx laughed at him and waved her hand for him to continue.

"Anyway, we've been on a couple of dates, and I think I might like her a lot."
