Chapter 20

"Don't go."

"I have to Nyx."

Nyx sighed as let go of his hand. He gently grabbed her face and pulled her into a soft passionate kiss. Once he pulled away, he looked at her and then gave her a forehead kiss.

"Get a phone and I'll call you okay?" He asked as he opened the door.

"Okay." Nyx mumbled as she crossed her arms over her chest.

She watched as he left and went back to her room. She immediately went to her bathroom and turned on the shower. She put the cover she was using to cover her body back on the bed and went inside the shower. Once she was done, she wrapped a towel around her body.

She placed her bedsheets in the washer and began looking for clothes. She decided on a dark green tank, with black jeans and dark green heels.

She quickly did her makeup, and grabbed her black bag. She headed out the door and to the store.

After she bought her a phone, she dialed Bucky's number. He didn't answer her, she became confused because he said he would answer. She decided to leave it and get some food.

Meanwhile....

Bucky was walking to the compound because it wasn't too far from Nyx's house. He felt someone following him and he quickly rerouted where he was going. He turned into an alleyway for some type of diversion.

Right when he turned in the alley way, he was met with a familiar face.

Jason.

"Jason."

"Oh so she has told you about me."

"What do you want?" Bucky demanded.

Jason laughed, "I want to hurt Nyx. That's what I want." Jason said as he lifted his hand and Bucky flew to the wall beside him.

Jason looked at his hand in awe.

"Hm didn't think it was going to work." He said referring to the new potion he made.

Bucky groaned as he made his way up. Once he stood up he saw Jason lift his hand again and Bucky was slammed into another wall.

He felt something oozing from his head, he reached his hand up and was met with blood.

Jason wasted no time and went up to Bucky, grabbing him by his shirt pulling him up.

"Wow, this potion is really good. Remind me to remake it."

Jason said as he punched Bucky repeatedly, making his lip bleed.

Jason punched and kicked Bucky until his eye was swollen, his cheeks were bruised and bleeding, his ribs almost broken, and his head still bleeding.

Bucky wasn't able to fight back because the potion Jason took made him more stronger than a super soldier for the time being.

Jason tilted his head at Bucky, thinking it wasn't enough. He pulled out his gun from his waistband and aimed it at Bucky.

"Wait.." Bucky whispered, as he coughed up some blood.

"If y-you kill me, s-she'll never forgive y-you." Bucky managed to get out.

"I know, but I'm not going to kill you.....yet." Jason said as he shot Bucky in the stomach and his leg.

Bucky yelled in pain, as he watched Jason come closer to him and harshly grabbed his face.
