I sat at the bar of the guild drinking with Cana as usual.
Cana:" So Y/n you retaking Erza out again in a couple of days, right?"
Y/n:" Yeah, I am. Why?"
Cana:" Well, this is your third date with her, and I was just wondering if you were planning on taking her someplace particular this time."
Y/n:" Oh, not really; why do you ask?"
Cana:" Well, I mean, I just assumed you were going to ask her to be your girlfriend on this date."
Y/n:" I am... why?"
Cana:: Well, I was just assuming that you were going to take her someplace nice since you were going to ask her to be your girlfriend, is all."
Y/n:" Well, I mean I would, but I spent most of the jewel I earned on rent and of fixing the gas line and replacing leaky pipes in my apartment, plush this months rent and I can't afford for both the reservation at one of those places and paying for the food."
Cana:" Well, I mean Y/n, if you want, I can loan you some money."
Y/n:" Are you sure, Cana? I mean, I would love that bu-"
Cana interrupted me as she spoke.
Cana:" Yeah, Y/n, you're my friend, and I want you and Erza to go to nice places; besides, it's just a little bit of money."
I smiled as I spoke.
Y/n:" Thank you, Cana, I'll pay you back, I promise!"
Cana:" You better."
Cana went back to drinking, and I stood up from my seat and looked around the guildhall and saw Erza at the job request bord looking at the various fliers. I walked over to Erza and spoke.
Y/n:" Hey Erza, could I talk to you about our date?"
Erza:" Sure, what about?"
Y/n:" Well, I was thinking of maybe going to one of those nice restaurants in town square."
Erza:" One of the ones where you have to wear nice clothes to get in?"
Y/n:" Uh yeah, does that sound okay?"
Erza:" Oh yeah, definitely. I would love to go to one of those places with you."
I smiled as I left Erza to her devices and left the guild to make our reservations for our date.
* Two-day time skip*
I put on my tie as I looked in the mirror before I exited my apartment and made my way to fairy hills and got to Erza's room, and knocked on the door a couple of times before Erza's voice echoed through the door.
Erza:" One minute!"
A second later, the door opened, and I saw Erza in a beautiful red dress.
