Y/n P.O.V~

I sighed as I looked down at the drink in my hands. My mind drifted to what Erza had said to me a while ago. I looked into the cup of coffee before I felt a hand touch my shoulder; I turned my head to see Gajeel looking at me.

Gajeel:" Hey dude, you good?"

I sighed before I spoke.

Y/n:" Yeah, man, I'm good just got some stuff on my mind."

Gajeel pulled out a barstool and sat next to me as he spoke.

Gajeel:" Are you worried about something?"

Y/n:" Well, uh, Erza asked if she could meet my father."

Gajeel:" Okay, what's so wrong about that?"

Y/n:" Well nothing, it's uh, I mean Gajeel, you do know what I did, right?"

Gajeel:" Uh, yeah, Cana told us."

Y/n:" Now, back when I was a member of Rias's little group, she put chess pieces in us-."

Gajeel interrupted me as I spoke.

Gajeel:" How's that work?"

Y/n:" That's not important, but what is important is if I go back into her territory where my dad just happens to live right by, they can track that pawn piece that I have inside me."

Gajeel:" Well, is there a way to remove the pawn piece."

I looked down at my coffee sadly as I spoke.

Y/n:" If there is a way, I sadly don't know it."

I sighed as I drank my cup of coffee, and Gajeel patted me on the back as he spoke.

Gajeel:" Hey, cheer up, dude. I'm sure there's a way to remove it; I mean, couldn't you just get surgery to remove it?

Y/n:" Gajeel buddy, it's not like that. She put it in us using magic, and it can't be removed using conventional means, so sugary is not an option."

Gajeel:" I see...."

I sighed, looking down, wondering what I should do. Gajeel left for a mission a couple of minutes after our talk. I got off of my stool and went to the guild library to hopefully find some information to help with my problem. I looked through every book I could find relating to my predicament, but alas, I couldn't find anything useful. After almost three hours of searching, I ended up giving up and exiting the library; after cleaning up, I returned to the bar and sat down, ordering some dark rum. As I sat there drinking, Master Makarov pulled out a stool and sat next to me.

Makarov:" Hello Y/n how are you today?"

Y/n:" Not great being honest."

Makarov:" Oh really, how come?"

Y/n:" Well, you see, I've got some a pawn piece in me, and I am looking for a way to get it removed. It's just been difficult."

Makarov:" Don't worry, I have a book about removing evil pieces. You can have it."

Y/n:" How did you even know it was an evil piece sealed in me?"

Makarov grinned as he took a sip of his drink.

Makarov:" I have my ways."

I sighed before taking another sip of my rum.

*One day later*

I sat in the guildhall reading the book master Makarov had loaned me, and sadly, I couldn't find anything on removing them. I then turned a page, and finally, I found what I was looking for. There was a ritual that could remove the pawn piece and make me human. I began to look at what was required for the ritual, all of the items I had or could get; however, I did worry as I saw a wizard with strong demon slayer magic on the list of requirements. Wait a minute, doesn't Gray have some demon slayer magic? I quickly looked around to see Gray looking at the job request board. I got out of my seat and walked up to the job request board, and spoke.
