The five houses

The teachers sat in the long sofa and Mr. Herbertor sat in the big rolling chair. After a min, our circle tables turned into a screen. In it was a list of food names. I clicked on Blood shake and Blood pie. As if it was a counter, the food appeared on the table. 

We don't drink actual blood. Empire Scientists of Earth have developed a substance that is similar to blood's taste, energy level and look. We have been using it.

My friend was eating Blood noodles. She saw me and looked back. I saw that in every table, there are at least four or five people but in our table, we were only two. 

After everyone had finished eating, our head started speaking, "Welcome, students. To the new ones, Welcome to Gagenoble Academy where you get five years of learning to control your powers and protecting humans from the Invasion of Calics. Everyone except the first years and head teachers can clear the arena" he said and everyone obeyed.

"As you all may know, we have five houses. First is Radcliffes. They are the one who can control the Air element." He said and looked back. Another teacher, a woman in red coat and pant, walked to the front. She took out a stone, "This is the air stone." She informed and it glowed. So did the eyes of some of the students in red.

"Well done. You may all follow Mrs. Renesse Herbertor to your dorm" he said and continued, "What do we have next? The Emersons!! The people who can control Earth!!"

This time another tall man came and he said," this is the Earth Stone". Again few people's eyes glowed green.

"Follow Mr. Tan Lacer to Emersons dorm" Mr. Herbertor said and continued, "Next is the cool guys!! The Startrekkers!! Water, of course!!"

Another woman stepped front. She was beautiful. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. "This is the Water Stone" she said.

I could feel my eyes glowing blue and so did my friend's.

"Follow Ms. Ariel Merryfish to your dorm" our head said and I followed Ms. Ariel.

We went out of the door. While walking, I looked around at the buildings until, we came to a lake. "Now, here are six of you. Why don't you introduce yourselves?" she asked kindly.

"I will go first" I hear my friend say. Oh my god! What a terrible girl I must be, I didn't even ask my friend's name! Why won't I just sink down?

"Hi, Everyone! My name is Kristiana Stuart" She said and smiled, "and I can create water manna"

Next was a boy. He looked similar to Kristiana. He had the same hair and eye colour as Kristiana.

"Hey. I am Kristoff Stuart. Kristiana's twin brother, but more mature. I can raise animal figurines from water"

I looked at Kristiana who only smiled.

"Helery Candy. I can turn colour of the water"

"Matt Jones. Hello. I can breathe underwater"

"Eric Bracer. I can melt anything to water"

I paled down.

"Is everything okay?" Ms. Ariel asked me.

"Ellie Meltone. I can freeze water and time" I talked fast.

"Time?" Kristiana asked. I nodded, visibly pale. She continued, "That's a rare power"

Our dorm was in middle of the lake. The water created steps when we came close. We stepped inside and there was a big room.

Ms. Ariel looked at us and told, "Girls dorm is in left, boys on right."

We all got separate rooms.

My room was very neat and had a beautiful view.

When I came out, I saw Kristiana standing in the balcony talking to Kristoff and Eric.

She waved when she saw me.

"Kristoff, she's the one I was talking about. She's a shadow" she rambled on.

"Nice to meet you" he said and I said, "Me too"

I looked at Eric uncomfortably.

"This is Eric, our childhood friend" Kristiana said and I looked pale. So, this was the friends back home, he was telling me about. This is not going to be good. My face turned very pale. Then a look came across Kristiana face and she caught Eric by his ears. "Is he the one who made fun of you?" she asked.
