Halloween Ball

"You are also a time guardian?" I asked shocked, "but you don't have time power"

Kristoff said, "He has hidden his power from us"

"I can melt away time too....it works like rewinding" Eric said.

I had given Ethan and Ed, our athletic teammate a thought but I never thought about Eric being a time guardian.

"Kristiana was diseased; still you didn't want to say you are the time guardian?" Kristoff said, "We have been friends for more than five years, Eric, and you still didn't want to say?"

"My parents made me promise not to tell anyone in any situation"

"How come?"

"They told me it means trouble. I am not supposed to tell anyone, Kristoff"

Kristiana was looking trembled.

"I am going" Eric said and went out of the dorm.

"Yeah....Hide yourself" Kristoff yelled, storming off in the opposite direction.

"I will get Kristoff, you get Eric" Kristiana said to me and went to get her brother.

"Eric....Wait" I said running to catch up with him.

"I know what I did....I am sorry....I don't want you to rub it in" Eric said.

"Actually, I am not mad at you" I said.

He turned. "You are not?" he asked.

I nodded. "It's okay to keep secrets. I have secrets too" I said and continued, "We need another member to be the time guardians, we can't create a time ball with only two of us. Stop blaming yourself"

"Actually, I know the third guardian too"

"What?" I screamed.

"Promise on your life that this information won't go out" he said, "to any other than Kristoff and Kristiana"

"I swear" I said.

"It's my sister Eva Bracer. She can fast forward time. She's a year younger than me"

I stood frozen.

"Listen, I don't know why but my parents made me promise not to tell anyone. It's very dangerous to mess with time, they said." He said, "If I had told you or made Eva come to Gagenoble and created a time ball, everyone will know it."

"I understand, Eric" I said, "As you have said your secret, it's only fair if I tell you mine"

"What?" He asked confused.

"My father doesn't run a café; he is an undercover agent posing as an entrepreneur in the Spy Squad"

"Really?" He asked and I nodded.

"You didn't tell it to Cedric, Kristoff or Kristiana?"

"I don't want to rush the information. I will tell them when the time is right"

"Okay. Now, what should I do?"

"I will handle it" I said.

Kristoff was standing in the middle of the dorm. When he saw us, he smiled.

"Eric, you are right. You know how much Kristiana means to me, so does your family to you. Call it a truce?"

Eric went and hugged Kristoff. He thumped him on the back.

"You are being over dramatic" Kristiana said and I agreed with her.

"Eva is the third guardian?" Kristoff asked.

"Dude, if you tell it to people, you are going to be famous" Cedric said.

"Don't even think about it" Eric said, "I trusted you four with my secret. Don't let the cat out of the bag"

"Sure, Eric" Kristiana said.

"A Halloween ball?" I asked aloud.

"Yes, to celebrate the cure of the students" Kristiana said.

"What are we supposed to do there?" I asked.

"Dress as scary creatures, dance to wild music, eat the creepy sweets and....." she dragged.

"And?" I asked.

"get rewards for each people we are scaring"

"This sounds really good"

We fan girled at the same time. This is going to be good.

"Are you excited for Halloween ball?" Helery asked.

"Yup. How about you?"

"I am dressing as a vampire"

"Cool"

"What about you?"

"I have no idea" I said and Kristiana giggled.

"What?" I asked to her.

"The ball is after the vacations. It's a month away." She said.

"What?" Helery asked.

"Yeah, the parents wanted to see their children so badly. The information about the disease is spreading rapidly now. So, they decided to give a month vacation and the ball is held on Halloween, exactly a month from now."

"My parents want me home" I said.
"Ours too" Kristiana said.
"Mine too" Eric and Cedric said.
"We will stay connected, right? " Eric asked.
"Of course" Kristiana said.
"Hey kids... Do anyone know Cedric? "

Two senior students were standing. We all looked at Cedric.

He looked at us confused.

"He has something that belongs to us" one of them said.

"What might that be?" I asked.

"Our Bracelet"

"It was not yours in the first place. You stole it from Athea. It was Athea's" Cedric shouted.

"Give it back" one of them said advancing on Cedric.

"Don't touch him" Eric shouted and punched him hard in the face.

The Second one advanced at Eric. Kristoff had raised a water tiger which roared. He screamed at Kristoff.

Kristiana aimed water manna straight at their faces. Some of their other friends started coming too. I froze their legs. They came out of it igniting fire. Cedric was shooting fire balls at them. One of them aimed a fire stick at Kristoff. I froze it on its way. One of the boys made a fire barrier. Eric melted out the barrier.

The tiger gave another big roar. They fled away from the place.

"If you mess with me, you mess with my friends too. Get it?" Cedric shouted at the boys.

"I get it, Cedric. How about celebrating the victory in detention room?" Mr.Tan Lacer asked emerging out.

"Mr.Lacer, it was them who started it!" Kristiana asked.

"Yeah, they stole my sister's bracelet, and I took it from them, so they started it!" Cedric said.

"That doesn't give you authority to raise a tiger in middle of school"

"Sir, we were only defending ourselves" I said.

"I will go and hand out punishment to those fellows too...You should have told a teacher instead of starting out a racket" He said. We nodded and headed to the detention room.

"Hey, Jones. Glad to see you are back."

"Me too, Guys. What did you do this time?"
