Bad Days

They way we look at life is a big deal, because we can chose to see the bright side of a situation or the dark side.

As a teenager I know our sense of the world is a bit disorientated. We tend to make a big deal out of something small, its not just teens either. Humans sometimes are just so cynical.

We focus so much on our misery, that it blinds us from seeing our happiness. We are so focused on ruining an already bad day that we can't stop to appreciate the good things that happened that day.

Lets say that when you woke up, you woke up late this morning and you happened to have an extremely important meeting or test that day. So, instead of taking a deep breath and trying your best to make the most out of this day you decide to growl and grumble about it. Since you where so upset you didn't notice that when you went to get your everyday morning coffee that the person serving you tried to work extra fast because they noticed you looked a bit stressed that morning?

We are so intent on being upset that we don't notice when something goes right for us. This is only one example. We could be so much happier if we didn't ruin our own day continuously.

Life goes on even if you're having a bad day, time won't stop for you. It doesn't stop for anyone, so that's why you have to make the most out of everyday. No matter how bad it may seem, instead of closing your eyes and surrounding yourself with darkness try opening them up to see the light.

Now when I say make the most out of your day I don't mean have fun all the time and forget your responsibilities, not at all. When I say that I mean try to focus on the positive of the day, and if you can't find a single thing to be happy about, remind your self at least you're still alive.

Beautiful things happen when you distance yourself from negativity. -Unknown
