Depression, in my opinion. Is like a dark hole.
The closer you get to it, the more it will suck you in. Nothing will change your mind, nothing.
For the people who don't understand depression, for the people who can't seem to get why depressed people can't pull themselves out of there 'funk'. Let me explain it in a different way.
Let's say you and I decide to go to the store, once we get there we head straight to the candy isle.
As we stand there and look through all the options, I stumble upon my favorite treat. A cinnamon bun. So, I go and pick it up.
Even though I love cinnamon buns, and think that they are the most delicious things in the world; you don't.
You think there disgusting and to sweet. No, matter how many times I tell you it amazing and delicious, you still think there gross.
That's like depression.
Depression is the cinnamon bun.
The lover if the cinnamon bun is you.
The hater of the cinnamon bun is the person that's depressed.
No matter what you tell them, wether it be 'Things will get better hold on. ' or 'You're beautiful, it doesn't matter what others say'. They won't believe you. They think whatevers happening, they deserve. That all the lies they've been told are true.
That, in my opinion, is depression.
