"Stop breathing my air," I say. We have only been squished together for two minutes but I feel like my skin is on fire. Thanos is so close to me and I can barely breathe. "I'm trying. Sorry if this is making you uncomfortable," he says. "You should have just stayed in the room instead of going to visit Natalie," I reply. "How was I supposed to know she would be murdered," Thanos asks.
"I don't know. I'm just trying to keep my sanity," I reply. "Am I making you that uncomfortable," Thanos asks. I roll my eyes before saying, "That isn't a secret." "Sorry. You aren't really the most pleasing sight either," Thanos says. I look Thanos over before asking, "Excuse me?" I should be like sunshine and butterflies in his eyes since I'm stuck in this room with him.
"Your attitude could definitely be better. We're stuck together, big whoop. It's not like I'm groping you," he says and makes my mouth drop. "How can you just say that to me? Do you ever spare people's feelings," I ask. "You shouldn't get worked up. You're not that hot," Thanos says while looking down. "Oh yeah? Then why are you staring at my chest," I ask. "It's not much of a chest," he says before I punch him in the stomach.
Thanos leans over from the blow and his lips crush mine. My eyes widen and so do Thanos's. We stay that way for a while until Thanos pulls back. Thanos continues to stare me down in shock and I'm sure that I'm blushing. I meant to hurt him, not kiss him. "S-sorry," Thanos says and I can't believe my ears. Did Thanos stutter? "It's my fault," I say before touching my lips. "Yeah it is," he says before clearing his throat.
"Maybe we should just be quiet," I suggest. "Sure," Thanos says and that's how we spend most of our time. I keep my eyes down cast and fidget with my hands. This is so awkward. Thanos just kissed me and I'm a little upset. Why does he always kiss me when I'm off guard? He must think that I'm a bad kisser and I guess I am. I don't remember having a lot of experience in that area.
Thanos pulls me in his arms and I freeze. What is he doing? "Be quiet," he whispers in my ear, "They're coming." I faintly hear a few people looking around and I hold my breath. Why does Thanos have to smell so nice? "I want that murderer found," someone says. Is that Ms. Strict? "Now Ms. Strict we don't have proof that Mr. Thanos did that," Principal Conarvic says.
I can't hear the rest of their conversation because Thanos pulls me even closer to him. All I can hear is his loud heartbeat. "Let's try somewhere else," Ms. Strict says and I hear footsteps leaving the room. I sigh in relief but Thanos smashes his lips on mine. Does he enjoy kissing me while I'm not prepared? "What is it," someone asks. "I just wanted to double check. Keep going," Ms. Strict says while still in the room.
I almost ruined everything. What is this in my mouth? Was I chewing gum? I bite down and Thanos groans. Oops. I hear a door close before Thanos releases me. "What is wrong with you? Do you bite all the guys that kiss you," Thanos asks. "Only the guys who make a habit of kissing me when I'm not ready," I reply with a smirk. At least I got him this time.
"When are you ever ready? You almost got us caught," Thanos whispers. "I realize that but you sticking your tongue down my throat didn't help," I say. "It was hardly down your throat. That requires a little more work," Thanos says with an eye roll. "You make me sick with your player attitude and," I stop to let my eyes roam his well shaped body, "flabby abbs." Thanos laughs before taking off his shirt.
"Show me exactly what you're talking about," he says and I try to look away. Unfortunately there's nowhere else to look. "How would you like it if I just took of my shirt," I ask. "Is that the best threat you have? Keep your voice down," he whispers. "Put your shirt on," I demand. "No. It's hot and I think we'll be in here for at least another hour. I might as well get comfortable," he says.
"Fine. Just keep your pants on," I argue. "I have boxers on," Thanos mumbles and I start to get a head ache. Why am I stuck with him? "Do you want to know what's your other problem," Thanos asks. I sigh before saying, "As if you haven't made that list long enough. Go ahead so you can hear yourself talk." Thanos shrugs before saying, "You're looking for Mr. Perfect. You always have." "Is something wrong with that," I ask.
