Chad

Habang hinihipan niya pa lang ang sopas ay may namumuo ng mga luha sa mga mata ko. I don't know what this feeling is. I don't understand. Then a tear finally fell on my cheek. I can't hold it back anymore.

I looked at her and I can't help but kiss her forehead. She was a bit surprised when I did that.

"Ano ba yan Chad! Parte pa ba ng kontrata yan?" She smiled as she is about to spoon feed me.

"How about you? Being here and taking care of me...is this still part of your conditions too?" Natahimik ito bigla.

I don't know but something just came upon me to hold her hand.

"Thank you"
I softly said

"Mainit ka pa Chad"
sabi niya

"You're hot too, Yana. Damn hot"

"Haha ano ba! Mahawaan mo pa ako sige ka. Kumain ka na muna. Tsaka Chad? Mamaya pala may sasabihin ako sayo ah? Pero mamaya na yun ubusin mo muna to." 

"Seryoso ba yan?"

"Hhmm medyo lang naman"

Nung sinabi ni Yana yun bigla akong kinabahan. Ano kaya ito?

After niya akong pinakain I went to the bathroom to pee. Inalayan niya naman ako. Few minutes after, I rested then she sponge bathed me again and checked my temperature.

"37.9. ok good at least bumaba na siya"

Ang ganda naman ng personal nurse ko.

"Yana, I'm ok now. You can go home. Maybe Jimuel is waiting for you."

She blankly stared at me. Hay awit dinamay ko pa si Jimuel. Pero syempre sa totoo ayaw ko siyang umalis.

"Sigurado kang ok ka lang dito?"
she asked with a bit of concern on her voice

"Yeah. I think so. Thank you for the soup and for looking after me. That means a lot." I smiled

"It's ok. You're welcome. Alam kong ayaw mo naman samahan ka pag ganito ka kaya pinilit kong pumunta dito nung nalaman ko. Anyway Chad yung sasabihin ko pala?"

"Ay...oo nga pala. Ano nga pala yun?"

"Ano kasi...uhm"

Napapansin kong nahihirapan si Yana na mag open up. Ano ba tong sasabihin niya at lalo akong kinabahan?

"Sige na sabihin mo na. Magpapakasal ka na ba?" Biro kong sabi

"Jusko Chad utang na loob wala akong balak diyan. Ni boyfriend nga wala akong plano eh."

Wow. That hurt a little.

"So ano na? It's ok just say it"

"Ano kasi....may tinanggap akong trabaho"
She finally said

"Ok? So hindi ka na magtatarabaho kay Mr.Wong?" 

"Hindi na...pero in three months time pa"
