Some things you should know before reading:
1. In order for this to work, I had to break the Hadestown canon of the workers not having names or personalities. Instead, I made it so that when there's a new worker, they get a nickname when they forget their real name.
Also, their personalities become stronger the farther away Hades is. So basically they have no name and no personality/can't remember anything when Hades is close, but when Hades is, say, up top fetching Persephone, they have almost a full personality. Still less than a normal person up top, but a personality nonetheless.
2. Instead of Boroughs, there are Wall Divisions. They're named after the NY Boroughs though :)
I'm also going to put a song at the top of each chapter. The song will correspond with what's happening in the chapter (for the most part), so if you want a song while you're reading, listen to the one at the top :)
(Quick random note: Dystopian/fantasy/sci-fi stuff is what goes on in my head to keep me company in dark times in my life, so I'm really in my element writing this lol)
