Chapter 20

Immediately all of the death eaters that had been holding my friends captive started to either disparate or fight against the order. I was watching Tonks duel a masked one and didn't realize another was creeping up on me, until my wand flew out of my hand. I quickly shot my head over to see that a death eater had disarmed me, he started throwing curses at me that I narrowly dodged by jumping behind a big rock, I could see my wand but I knew that if I'd go for it he'd sure enough kill me.

I didn't know what to do, the death eater didn't see which rock i hid behind but it wouldn't take him long to find me. What if I was able to summon my wand using wand less magic? I knew it was probably impossible, only very highly skilled wizards Had been able to accomplish it but maybe if I tried hard enough... I read all about them a while and and I've seen Dumbledore do it, but then again he is one of the greatest wizards of our time and I'm just a teenager with barely enough knowledge to even be able to accomplish something close to that. I looked up from the rock to see the death eater looking around for me cackling loudly, he was clearly enjoying this knowing that he'd be able to either torture or Kill me as soon as he found me. I looked back at my wand that was at least 5 meters away from me knowing that this was my only chance, I glared at it and imagined it was in my hand when quietly but clearly I said "accio wand" nothing... not even a twitch. I looked back up at the death eater and he still hadn't spotted me so I looked back at the wand and concentrated on it hard imagining that I did have a wand in my hand feeling the magic go through it "accio wand" again nothing, tears started pricking at my eyes as I was starting to lose hope. I looked around at the order, none of them had even noticed that I was in danger as all of them were fighting themselves, i was on my own. I looked back at my wand panic starting to attack my body "come on please" I whispered quietly, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath in to calm myself I looked at it once more pulling all of myself together to concentrate only on getting that wand "accio wand!" It twitched moving a little bit towards me, i was exited but I had clearly been to loud since the death eater now slowly walked towards me, a big grin plastered on his face "there you are" he said tilting his head forward. Panicking again I looked back at the wand, every cell in my body trying to only concentrate on that "ACCIO WAND" the wand lifted from the ground and flew towards my hand allowing me to catch it with ease.

I stood up from the rock pointing it at the now shocked looking death eater "AVADA KEDAVRA" I screamed not even thinking of what spell I had just used, still with the same shocked expression on his face he fell to the ground his eyes wide open and his last breath leaving his body. I threw my hands to my mouth realizing that I had just KILLED someone, was I going to go to Azkaban? I mean he was a death eater and it was either me or him but I had still killed a man!

I turned to see if anyone had noticed and to my relief no one had, everyone was still fighting including Sirius Black and Harry who were fighting Lucius Malfoy ganging up on him. "Expelliarmus" screamed Harry making Lucius' wand fly out of his hands to the other side of the room. "Nice one James!" Said Sirius smiling at Harry before he shot one last spell at Lucius making him fly to the same part of the room where his wand had landed. 'James?' I thought to myself as Sirius smiled proudly at himself. Just then Bella Apparated onto one of the rocks in front of them, her wand ajar "Avada Kedavra!" She chanted with a smile as the curse hit Sirius in the chest. Sirius looked over to harry one last time dropping his smile, and fell backwards into the arch disappearing into it.

I covered my face with my hands in shock and disbelief, she really killed her own cousin.... Harry looked like he himself had been hit by the curse staring at the empty arch that Sirius had disappeared into. Quickly with tears in his own eyes as well Remus lupin ran over to Harry holding him while he screamed "NO" over and over again crying against lupins arms. I could feel my eyes gloss over with tears at the sight, I glanced at Bellatrix, who just shook her head at Harry and Remus as though they were being overly dramatic before she turned around and ran into the darkness. Hesitantly I ran after her following her into a big hall, "I killed Sirius Black, I killed Sirius Black" she screamed around laughing in a sing song tone. "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT" she turned over to me dropping her smile "what happened to you?" I said in a whisper tears now falling down my face, she just stood there staring at me, her face now smirk less and hurt. Hesitantly she walked over to me and cupped my cheek wiping my tears with her thumb. I wanted to push her hand away but at the same time I couldn't, it was like something was holding me back. "My darling, sometimes you don't get to choose who you are or what you become, you just get born or forced into it..."  her voice was now gentle and comforting but still full of hurt. I furrowed my eyebrows at her not quite understanding what she was trying to say, I wanted to reply but Again I couldn't. It was like she had changed, changed from the insane woman who killed people for fun back to my mother, the side of her that I knew was now standing before me not the other side, not the side I hated but the side that I loved.

She gave me a sad smile before looking up and regaining her psychotic one, she took her hand off my cheek and started cackling. I turned around to see Harry standing there his face stained with tears and his hand clutching his wand so tight his knuckles were turning white. "I killed Sirius Black AHHAHAAHA" Bella started singing again mocking Harry, 'how could she switch up so quickly?' I thought to myself in disgust and a bit of astonishment. She started running down the hall still cackling and singing making Harry run past me after her raising his wand. "I killed Sirius Black I killed Sir-" "CRUCIO" screamed Harry making Bellatrix fall to the floor, she didn't scream.. just like me, but I could see the tears welling up in her eyes, I could see her skin turning Pail and the color draining from her eyes, I couldn't let my mother get tortured it was hurting me to see it.

"STOP" I screamed pushing Harry to the ground knocking his wand out of his hand, he looked up at me as if I was insane. I quickly ran over to Bella kneeling down next to her, she still looked pale but was in much better shape then I was after getting Tortured "A-are you o-okay?" I asked out of breath shaking slightly. "Of co-" her voice got blocked out by another voice inside my head, "you have to MEAN it Harry!" The voice was loud but a whisper, I looked over to Harry to see him staring at Bella and me confused meaning he had heard the voice as well. "Come on Harry! She deserves it!" It was him, and he was telling Harry to hurt my mother! Who was his most loyal follower, how could he do such a thing? I looked up at Harry to see him raising his wand a bit again, "DONT YOU DARE HARRY!" harry lowered his wand again looking as though he was about to pass out when a head came flying his way making a strange sound, the head spun around Harry and transformed into Voldemort...
