I hear a symphony

"These tacos are great!" Adora exclaimed in between chewing, covering her mouth with the taco itself.
The brunette could just laugh at her childish way of devouring it.
"They are" she added, before putting hers back in the paper plate and fastly cleaning up her hands with the napkins they were given.
"...but something is missing..." She said, taking the AirPods from her bag and giving one to the puzzled roommate.
"A good soundtrack." Catra explained, while the blonde cleaned her hands to take the AirPod.
Adora smiled and put it in her ear, ready to listen to the brunette's very thoughtfully made playlist.
Dopamine by BØRNS, Sex money feelings die by Lykke Li, Cigarette Daydreams by Cage the elephant, Sundress by A$AP Rocky, Sommertime in Paris by Jaden and Willow, Unlove by Lyle Kam, Spiderhead by Cage the elephant, Remember that night by Sara Kays...there were many, which garanted a quiet and viby atmosphere.
The girls listened to it silently, attempting little dances, smiling at each other, eating their tacos and just enjoining that night, that moment.
For a brief minute, they were together, reconnected, free from their past and more alive than they ever could.
Adora dreamily looked at Catra, who was colletting their garbage, mouthing the lyrics of the song they were listening, she was so pretty and relaxed...it all felt so light and spontaneous...Adora took the brunette's hand, who looked at her a little confused, but stood up as her friend did...than the latina found herself in her loving arms, swinging from side to side, not really following the rhythm of Ode to the Mets by the Strokes, but to a basic and romantic motion the blondie had set.
Unfortunately, Monsters by All Time Low and blackbear followed and, for how much Catra loved that song, it wasn't romantic at all, and her roommate had to agree because she broke their warm hug and chuckled.
"Give me your phone, it's my turn to chose the playlist now." She demanded, with a soft smile.
The brunette unwillingly obeyed and put her precious blackbox in the girl's hands, who rapidly figured out the code and started looking around in the Spotify app.
"When did you learn my code?" Catra wondered pouting, but she laughed lightly and rolled her eyes.
"I know all your passwords, dummy." Adora underlined the obvious.

The brunette might have thought to be the smartest, but she was just awful when it came about passwords, eventually going for the usual five: her favourite number, her birth day, their birthdays combined, her favourite food or the name they wanted to give to their future cat, Melog.

Catra snorted.
In a couple of seconds the blonde grinned widely and put the phone in her back pocket, as her playlist started.
Dancing in the moonlight, the one that had been their song since forever, the one that they would have jammed to in their room, showing off their worst performances, but laughing lightheartedly  like there was no harm in the world.
The brunette looked at her in disbelief, shaking her head, unable to hold back a smile to the goofy and involving roommate, who tried to drag her in her choreography.
And she managed to.
They pushed and pulled, trying their best to be coordinated, pirouetting and swinging, tripping in their steps and laughing at each other, mouthing the lyric.

"Dancing in the moonlight
Everybodys feeling warm and bright
Its such a fine and natural sight
Everybodys dancing in the moonlight

We like our fun and we never fight
You cant dance and stay uptight
Its a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancing in the moonlight"

How stupid of Adora choosing that song.

"We get in on most every night
And when that moon is big and bright
Its a supernatural delight
Everybodys dancing in the moonlight

Dancing in the moonlight
Everybodys feeling warm and bright
Its such a fine and natural sight
Everybodys dancing in the moonlight..."
