Chapter 45

It's the day of my first show. Luke and the bubbas are going to watch from backstage. I can't wait. I had a few minutes before I had to go on.

Luke: "I'm so so proud of you, princess!! You worked so incredible hard on the album!! Go smash it!!"

Me: "I love you. I couldn't have done it without you"

Luke: "I love you"

Theo: "mummy go sing!!"

Me: "I will bubba!!"

I crouched down and kissed Theo's forehead. Then I leaned up and kissed Harper and Delilahs forehead- Luke was holding both of them. Then I kissed Luke softly.

Luke: "go smash it, baby"

I walked on so nervous. Once I got through my first song the nerves died down a bit and I loved it. I love preforming.

- Luke's pov -

I watched her walk on and she looked like a goddess. She always looks so beautiful especially when she thinks no ones watching. The crowd erupted in cheers when she walked on and clapping. I'm so proud of her. She's come so far and deserve everything. She's so worthy of it all. Her closing song was my favourite 'paper dreams' it's so different to the rest of the songs. It's so beautifully written. Every time I hear it I start to cry. As she walked off a few tears rolled down my cheek. Harper and Delilah were practically asleep on my shoulder.

Harper: "mama!!"

I passed Harper to Phee and she buried her head in Phee's shoulder.

Luke: "you were amazing"

Me: "I can tell I can see the tears, Lukey"

Luke smiled as I wiped the few tears on his cheek.

Me: "let's go home. The bubbas are tired and so am I"

Luke: "come on then, baby"
