- it's now December-

Luke wanted to have photos taken of all of us so I've gone shopping with the kids to get Harper and Delilah a new dress. As we were looking Harper and Delilah reached for a green dress. I found their size and saw Theo looking at a red dress. I smiled and bent down next to him.

Me: "baby, do you want a dress too?"

Theo: "can I mama?"

Me: "of course! Do you want this red one?"

Theo: "yeah!"

Me: "okay, bubba"

I found his size and passed him the dress. He literally ran to the check out so I could pay for it. I paid for their dresses and went home. Luke was upstairs in the office. I put Harper and Delilah down for a nap and Theo went to play in his room.
I walked to Luke's office and sat down on his lap.

Luke: "did you get them a dress?"

Me: "mhm Theo got one too"

Luke: "he did?"

Me: "yeah. A red one he couldn't keep his eyes off it"

Luke: "he should wear it for the photos"

Me: "that's what I was thinking"

Luke: "what are you going to wear, princess?"

Me: "red, green and black checked trousers with a black turtle neck, daddy"

Luke: "you'll look beautiful, darling"

Me: "thank you, daddy"

- time skip about 2 weeks -

We'd had the photos done and all of the babies looked adorable. Theo kept asking Luke to twirl him in the dress which was very sweet. Me and Luke got the email of the photos and posted a few to Instagram.

We'd posted them in the morning and didn't check Instagram till after we put the kids to bed. We sat down on the sofa and I saw loads of negative comments about Theo. My heart broke. He's 3?! Why the fuck are they hating on a three year old??

Luke: "baby, have you seen-"

Me: "yes I have. It's fucking horrible he's three for fuck sake"

Luke: "I know, babygirl."
