Chapter 13 Surprise!

Today was my birthday! It was my first birthday ever that was somewhere that was not Earth, but who would have thought it was Halfworld. I wake up and see it is 7:40 AM. I then hear a knock on my door.

I open it and hear, "SURPRISE!" A group shouted.

I fell to the floor totally surprised for sure.

I see Lylla, Ricket, Ranger, WalRus, a turtle guy, and a bunny guy with goggles, "Isn't early for a surprise party?" I say, as I feel dizzy.

People come out of their doors shouting, "SHHH!" the people say as they slam their doors.

I sigh, "Come on in everyone," I say.

Everyone comes into the room, Lylla holds a cake that says, 'Happy Birthday Chris'. Ranger and my girlfriend hold birthday gifts and accessories.

"Let me go get my gear on," I say as I walk into my room.

As I got my gear on I just wanted to see Rocket again. Getting the fact Rocket would miss my birthday would make me cry, but I did cry. I'm all dressed though, so I walk to the main area. I see everyone sitting on a couch, on the floor, or just hanging out in the middle of the room.

Everyone sees me crying, "Hey Chris, what's wrong?" Ricket asks as she holds my hand with her paws.

Her fur reminds me of Rocket, "I just want to see Rocket again," I said sobbing.

Then the doorbell rings. I see Ranger opening the door, and when Ranger moves to the side I see... Rocket!!! I cry to a bunch of tears but I can't speak because I'm crying too much. I collapsed to the floor still crying as tears came out of my eyes as if rain was pouring.

The blurry figure gets closer to me as I hear Rocket's voice, "It's okay C, I'm here I'm not leaving you anymore," Rocket says.

Rocket is the only one who calls me by 'C' so I know it's him. I hear growls coming from Rocket as I see he is protecting me from my Halfworld friends. Rocket thinks they are trying to hurt me, or something but that's not the case. I also noticed that he was wearing a blue vest. I guess he got a new outfit. I try to speak but I'm too weak due to me crying too much. I then see a tall yellow color like figure in front of me.

I hear Rocket and the tall man talking, "I am Groot!"

"Let's get out of here! Bring him to the ship!" I hear Rocket say.

Then everything went black.
