"He thinks I'm some stupid thing he does! Well I didn't ask to get made. I didn't ask to be torn apart and put back together over and over and to be turned into some... little monster," Rocket says with tears in his eyes.
Chris, Ranger, Groot, Lylla, Ricket, and Rocket were at a bar on Knowhere with some people waiting to deliver an orb to the Collector.
Chris knew life wasn't fair, "Well life isn't fair Rocket. I didn't ask for my father to leave me, I didn't ask for me to be bullied in school, I didn't ask for teachers to treat me like nothing, I didn't ask for life to be hell and be unfair!" Chris shouts.
Rocket looks at the floor feeling surprised and sad.
Chris sighs and kneels down to reach his friend's height, "I know that you had to go through bad, painful, stuff. And heck I didn't ask for bad things in my life too. I know life can treat you like crap, but we have to look to the future and find the good part of life. We're here to help you get through this," Chris says.
Rocket sobs and falls into Chris's arms, Chris pets him on the head to help calm him down. The crowd goes back to their own business, then when Rocket was ready. The group went to see the Collector.
