I wake up seeing a blurry figure as my eyes adjust and then I see Rocket.

Rocket smiles, "I'm glad your okay C," He says as he puts his paw on my arm.

I then shake my head knowing that my best friend never abandoned me. He did think of me.

I hug Rocket having him in my embrace, "I missed you so much," I say having a couple tears again come out of my eyes.

Rocket hugs me back just a little more tight, "I missed you too," Rocket replies.

Me and Rocket have a good connection and no one can break it. Rocket and I are best friends, and no one can change that.

I get up and let him go, "So what have you been doing?" I ask.

"Been struggling to decide if I should have gone to Halfworld or not. I wanted to see you but I didn't want to run into my family at the same time. After a while I decided to pick you up even though I ran into my family," Rocket says.

I smile.

"I'm just glad I have you back by my side C," Rocket says as he smiles.

"Me too," I say.

I then see the tall figure walk into my room and he looks like a tree, "I am Groot," The tree man says.

"I almost forgot! This is Groot, Chris, I met him on my travels," Rocket says.

Groot extends his hand to me, "Nice to meet you Groot," I say shaking his hand.

"I am Groot," Groot says.

"Oh yeah almost forgot his language is pretty much by I. Am. Groot. Specifically in that order. Groot, this is Chris, my best friend and I trust him with my life, he saved me from the lab on Halfworld," Rocket says.

"I am Groot," Groot says with a smile on his face.

"He says, 'Can't wait to work with you'," Rocket comments.

"Me too Groot," I replied.

"Nice outfit by the way," I say to Rocket.

"Thanks," Rocket plainly says.

"Rocket, I know what happened with your family in the past on Halfworld. They didn't mean to say that Rocket, it was the experiments that had them say that. I think they were injected by the scientists and it had them show their bad side," I say.

Rocket looks down at the floor.

"They still love you Rocket, they missed you even Lylla, too," I say.

Rocket turns around looking at me, "I trust you Chris, so I'm going to talk to them later," Rocket says.

I nod in response, and Rocket climbs onto my back smiling at me.

"Let's go Bounty Boy!" I say smiling.

"You gotta call me something else besides 'Bounty Boy'," Rocket says as he rolls his eyes playfully.

I chuckle, then Rocket says something that makes me smile, "So Birthday Boy what do you want to do?" Rocket asks.

"I was going to have a party with my friends Rocket, don't worry you're invited too, you will always be my best friend," I say.

"Same, you'll always be my best friend too," Rocket says with a smirk.

I open my apartment door, seeing everyone look worried, but when everyone sees me with Rocket on my shoulder everyone sighs with relief knowing that me and Rocket have everything sorted out.

I go to the table looking down at the cake, "Let's get started everyone!" I announce.

Rocket then climbs down off of me, and looks at Lylla, "Lylla!" Rocket shouts.

Lylla runs to him and hugs his boyfriend, "I missed you Rocky," Lylla says.

Rocky is a cute nickname.

"I missed you too beautiful," Rocket says, soothing his girlfriend.

I walk over to Ricket and kneel down. Next, I kiss her on the cheek. Ricket smiles back at me.

Rocket looks at me and his sister, "Awkward," Rocket says with a smirk.

Me and Ricket, both roll our eyes at Rocket then we start to open up presents by me grabbing one off the table.

"That's from me," WalRus says.

"That's a saberblade. It's from the ancient warriors of Halfworld, they used these weapons in battle. It's extremely rare to find these types of weapons," WalRus explains.

I activate the saberblade looking at the orange beam. It's somewhat beautiful.

I turn off of the saber and set it on the table, "Thank you Mr. Rus," I say.

I open the next gift and see it's from Ranger, it's a belt, "I got that for you so you could put your equipment on and you can have your weapons right by your side," Ranger says with his arms crossed.

"Thanks, Ranger!" I say with a smile on my face.

I put the belt around my waist, and wonder if my saberblade can hook up onto the belt? I try to do so and it works! Nice!

"Cool!" Ricket says.

I open everyone else's presents, and they are just units. I tell everyone else thank you anyway.

I look to Rocket as he rubs the back of his neck, "Sorry I didn't make or have a present," Rocket says.

I shake my head and walk over to Rocket and kneel down to meet his gaze, "Seeing you again Rocket, is the greatest gift I could ask for," I say.

Rocket hugs me as I feel him in my embrace, he tightens his grip on my hoodie as I smile.
