I wake up in the morning on my bed. I remember when I got to my apartment I passed out on my bed. I was tired yesterday, I put on my pajamas as I went out in the hallway to put my clothes in the washer. I walk around my apartment, and I notice that there is a TV. I sit in a chair and find the TV remote on a table. I switch on the TV seeing a fox talking. I wonder how many species there are here?

"There have been reports of a human walking around in the city," the fox reporter says.

"I know the human, I know the past on Halfworld hasn't been the brightest but we can trust this human. Just please trust him he's not dangerous," Lylla says.

Is there more to the topic of Halfworlders not liking humans?

I then hear a knock on my door, "Hey Chris, it's me Ranger, can you open up the door?" Ranger asks.

"Yep, be there in a second," I say as I get off of the chair and I open the door.

I see Ranger with a smile on his face, he wears his red uniform, then walks into my apartment.

"In a couple of days, you will get a job soon. Lylla, said you can join me on my missions," Ranger says crossing his arms.

"Nice, so why are you here?" I ask.

"Since you will be joining me on some missions. I thought you could get an upgrade on your gear," Ranger says smiling.

"Thanks Ranger, once my clothes are out of the washer and dryer then we can head out," I say.

"In the meantime can I hang out?" Ranger asks.

I nod with a smile on my face. Ranger sits on a couch across from my chair and lays against the couch. I sit down in my chair talking with Ranger for the time being. As minutes pass by we laugh and have a great time talking about things, and I tell him about the moment when Rocket had hot chocolate on his whiskers which was the day on Christmas Eve. Then I heard a buzz in the hallway meaning my clothes were ready. I slip them on, then me and Ranger leave my apartment to go shopping.
