I sleep for a couple hours. I wake up then check the clock, it's 12:13PM. I crash landed at 6:00 so that means I've been here for about six hours and thirteen minutes. My stomach growls. I need some food to eat. I see Ricket sleeping, but Ranger is awake.

"It's lunch time, I'll go get you some food," Ranger says.

"I'll have some chicken nuggets if you have that?" I ask.

I don't know if they have it, but I hope they do.

"Yes Chris, we do have that. I'll go get you a drink of water too," Ranger says leaving the room.

Ricket wakes up and looks around the room, I can tell she's trying to figure out where her brother went.

"He was going to get me food," I say.

"Oh, okay," The girl raccoon said.

What I didn't expect is that Ricket was in her chair staring at me like she's in a wonderland of admiring beauty. I was kind of weirded out, but hey I don't blame her for admiring me, I think I can be handsome too.

"Admiring me," I say with a little chuckle.

The raccoon puts her paws over her eyes like she's embarrassed.

"It's okay you're fine," I say with a simile on my face.

"So Ricket does your family have a Mom and Dad?" I ask.

Ricket sighs sadly then speaks, "Mom is in a different city because of her work, and Dad is no longer with us, he's dead," She says with sadness on her face.

"I'm sorry about your Dad," I say looking down at the covers of the bed.

"I just wish he was alive now," Ricket sets her hands in her lap, and I see a tear from her cheek fall on to her legs.

Ranger comes back in the room after me and Ricket talk for about ten minutes.

"Getting to know my sister?" Ranger says with a smile.

Ranger hands me a bag with my chicken nuggets in it, including a cup of water.

"Thank you Ranger," I say smiling.

I still wonder why Rocket is mad at his family?

"Can I ask you guys something?" I say.

"Go ahead," they both say.

"Why does Rocket not like you guys? You're his family," I question.

Ranger sighs, "Let's just say the experiments made us into bad mouths," he says.

Then again experiments, it was the scientists experiments that did this to Rocket's family. My hands turn into fists, a tear falls off my cheek and lands on the covers.

"I hate those men," I say with a serious tone.

"It's okay now Felhopher, those scientists have no control of us anymore," Ranger says.

He's right, calm down me. I take a few deep breaths. I feel the anger wash away.

"Your right, and just please call me Chris," I say smiling.

I then sleep for the rest of the day, including dinner. I open my eyes and notice that only one light is on in the room. I see Ranger and Ricket sleeping with each other on a couch in the room. What I thought was adorable was that they were both cuddled in a ball next to each other, and I smiled. I check the clock and it's midnight. I decide to go back to sleep, and rest.
