Epilogue

After the proposal, they went to Baekhyun's condo to rest. Arriving there, they sat on the sofa while leaning on each other's heads, interlocking their hands tightly. Suddenly, Yoona felt apologetic to him as she had made him wait for her so long.

"Sorry that I didn't accept you early." Baekhyun put his index finger on her lip. He didn't want her to feel apologetic toward him because it was already in the past.

"No need to be sorry. Everything happens for a reason. Although it happens in the past, present, or future, as long as we can be together, I can wait for you." He paused while looking at her eyes directly with his soothing eyes.

"You might not like me before because of my age. But it can be understood because I might be childish and unreliable in a relationship at that time." Yoona shook her head with disapproval because she knew that this was her prejudice toward young men, as she was childish at that time. If only she admitted that the relationship had no age limit, it wouldn't be like this.

"I might not be good enough for you for now, but I promise to take care of you well enough until you find the reason you love me. I'll cherish you forever...I love you." Baekhyun smiled at her while caressing her hair. He pecked a kiss on her forehead with love.

"Thank you for your affection. I will do everything for you." Yoona said and continued, "Do you want to know a huge secret from me?" Baekhyun wondered what the huge secret was that Yoona hid from him.

"I had a crush on you on the first day that we met in high school," Yoona murmured with embarrassment as she had hidden this truth for a long time. Baekhyun was shocked by this sudden confession as he blinked his eyes nonstop.

"You...how come you hide it so well?" Yoona stuck out her tongue. In turn, he tickled her as she laughed. Eventually, they hugged and cuddled on the sofa with affection and love while recalling the past.

After a fortnight

"Chanyeol, Have you prepared everything?" Baekhyun asked Chanyeol anxiously as he walked left and right.

"Yes, everything is smooth... like a river~" Chanyeol sang to calm his best friend.

"Chen... has messaged us." Chanyeol showed the chat to him as the time nearly came.

Baekhyun couldn't standstill. This was more nerve-wracking than proposing an idea or presenting their idea to their company's partner. Seeing this, Chanyeol laughed and shot a video of his nervous friend. In turn, he got a hit on the shoulder.

Suddenly, the sound of high heels could be heard outside the door. Then, the huge door opened slowly from the outside, revealing the most gorgeous woman in his eyes. Baekhyun walked step by step shakily toward her. Next, he stopped his pace and kneeled in front of her.

Seeing his action, Yoona gasped with her mouth open and surprised eyes. She couldn't believe what she was witnessing in front of her. She thought they would have a normal dinner as a couple, but it turned out to be the most pleasurable and unforgettable one.

"What are you doing? Hyunee" Yoona asked Baekhyun as he kneeled. He took out a blue sparkling box and opened it, revealing the most exquisite ring.

"I want to propose to you with a ring. Yoong-ah. Will you Marry ME?" He tilted his head to the side while looking up at her, which was so adorable.

Yoona was astonished as she had proposed to him before but didn't know that he was prepared to propose to her again with the ring. Yoona nodded her head rapidly with an exhilarating feeling. After that, Baekhyun took out the ring and put it on her ring finger gradually.

"Yoong-ah, I promise to keep you safe and sound. I will give you all my heart and soul. I will be right here with you for life. I promise to hold your hand and take care of you forever." Baekhyun whispered all these sentences to Yoona wholeheartedly.

"Hyunee, thank you for the light of your love that has surrounded me for many years," Yoona whispered back to him with tears in her eyes.

Afterward, they hugged and kissed gently with the sound of clapping from their best friend.

Baekhyun knew that Yoona would be shy in front of many people, so he only invited some of their best friends to witness their proposal and love. They teased them because of their affection, so Baekhyun would like them to have some meals in the restaurant as he had booked the whole hall.

While the lovebird went to the table that was in the middle of the hall to get a seat, they continued chatting.

"Thank you for the ring and for preparing for this." Yoona was grateful for everything that Baekhyun did for her.

"It's nothing. Do you want to know another thing that I have prepared?" Hearing this, Yoona became confused. What did he prepare for her and why?

"Look inside the ring!" Yoona looked at the ring and took it off to see with her doubtful eyes. Taking it off, she gazed at it and was surprised.

"WOW, Hyunee, you..."

"Yes, I carved our names and your idol's names in it."

The carved letter in-ring 'BH <3 YN' 'EXO' (The letters mirror each other.)

"Yoong-ah/Hyunee. I LOVE YOU. YOU'RE THE LIGHT IN MY HEART." They talked in one accord with the sparkling light surrounding them and leaned closer to kiss each other.

The sound of the wedding bell was played and the door was closed to celebrate their best day and the remaining day for the rest of their lives together. Baekhyun wore a glorious suit, while Yoona wore the most spectacular gown of the other brides.

EXO-For Life was sung by their best friend, no one but Chanyeol, as the song for their wedding day. Eventually, Yoona and Baekhyun tossed the bouquet to the guests, and there is no doubt that Chanyeol caught this auspicious bouquet from them.
