Chapter 32

Flashback before the meeting

"Irene~ah, you come. I need you right now!"

"What happened? My baby! Something bothers you?"

"Hmph! I don't know how to decide or should I... refuse them."

"Yoonaaaa, your Prince Charming confesses to you after a long time and you want to refuse him. You girl is stupid." Irene knocked her head to come back to her senses. Yoona pouted as it seemed to hurt, but it made her relieved.

"Just think this... who makes your heart flutter the most? Think about when you meet them for the first time after a long time, how they interact with you, how you dream about them and how they confess to you~~. My Yoona is growing up." Irene put some humor into her question, but what she received was a slap on her arm. With all of these questions, Yoona took one of her notebooks in the bag and wrote the answer.

"What are you doing-Yoona?? Is this how you decide? Can't you just think?" Irene was shocked by Yoona's method of deciding her future relationship. It was like a kid who was just brainstorming to decide what they should ask their parents to buy their present.

While she listed all the answers, she couldn't help but smile because of those precious memories that she had with them. Irene noted her best friend's expression all the time, the huge smile she had when she wrote them.

After that, Yoona circled the one that made her delightful the most.

"So... this is your answer." Yoona nodded not because of the circle but because her heart led her to that person the most. She always got flustered and shy when he got near her.

"My girl~ what can I say right now? He seems to be the most suitable for you, as I noted your smile when you listed down the moments you had with him. He seemed to be handsome and a gentleman from the photograph you gave me." Irene was so proud of her bestie as she always encouraged her to find a boyfriend since university. Then, she kissed her on the cheek just like every bestie did.

"Stop!!!!!. I need to decide again whether I should choose the third alternative so that both of them won't get hurt." It looked like she was possessed, so Irene hit her head hard so that she could come back to her senses.

Meeting Sehun

"So... Sehun, my answer is..." Yoona couldn't utter those words as she bit her lip nervously.

Sehun sensed what she meant, so he gave her a smile.

"It's okay. You can tell me. No need to be nervous."

Yoona took her courage and told him, "Sehun, let's just be friends. Sorry!" After she told this, she looked up to see his expression as he had the same reassuring smile all the time.

"I accept this answer. You don't need to be apologetic. Let's be friends together. Yoona-shi."

Yoona couldn't help but cover her face due to embarrassment as she felt sorry for him. She decided to pay for this meal as compensation.

From then on, they interacted with each other as usual as colleagues and friends. Yoona felt apologetic all the time when she encountered him.

On the same day, in the evening, she still had another mission to complete. She went to meet Baekhyun at the same restaurant where he confessed to her.

"Sorry, Yoona for making you wait. My car was stuck in heavy traffic." Baekhyun ran fast to her table while breathing heavily with sweat on his forehead. Then, Yoona gave him the tissue to wipe the sweat off.

"It's okay! Catch your breath first and take a seat." She handed him the water in a glass so he could take a sip. After that, the waiter came to order the dinner meal.

While eating the meal, they chit-chat about Baekhyun's exhausting work. Now, the time had come for her to give the answer. "Baekhyun-shi... I" Hearing her voice call his name, Baekhyun looked intensely at her face while anticipating the answer, which made Yoona even more nervous.

Yoona took up courage and said, "I... Yes, I...agree to be your girlfriend." She closed her eyes, then suddenly a kiss was placed on her forehead. She was shocked and her cheeks became pink.

"You're so cute! My Yeoja-chingu!!" Baekhyun felt like he was in heaven. He felt content with this answer and looked forward to the future of their love. While Yoona was still in silence, as she didn't know what to do. So, she just gave out a shy smile.
