Chapter 34

After having a date at the weekend, it's time to go to work at the office again. Yoona ran speedily to the company building as she didn't want to be late, and suddenly a tall figure appeared alongside her.

"Good Morning! Yoona-shi." Sehun greeted and waved at her.

"Hi! Sehun! Have you eaten breakfast yet?"

"Just an iced Americano. Here is the bread that I bought!" Sehun handed Yoona the bread that he bought at the cafe, as he knew that Yoona loved to eat it. Yoona accepted it as she still felt apologetic. They entered the elevator and it proceeded to their office floor.

After that, they went to their respective seats to resume work. At lunchtime, they would go to eat with their colleagues chatting casually, but in Sehun's heart, he still had some lingering feelings for Yoona.

However, he thought that it would be better if they became friends rather than strangers. From then on, he tried to relax and interacted with her like a best friend.

The relationship between Baekhyun and Yoona was growing better every day as they met for a date and called each other often.

One day, Chanyeol asked them to eat with him without knowing about their relationship.

"Baek and Yoona will come to eat with us too. I've prepared everything already." Chanyeol wanted to match them together as early as possible. He had been rooting for them since forever.

"Arraso!" Baekhyun pretended to be nervous in front of his best friend. They hadn't told him about their relationship yet, as they didn't want him to exaggerate and tease them about their relationship. Therefore, they used this chance to prank him.

After that, Yoona walked into the restaurant in a gorgeous dress. Seeing them sitting at the table, she walked toward them with an evil thought.

"Hey! We've been waiting for you for a long time." Chanyeol said and blamed her for being late.

"Do you have to make up for this long?" Yoona glared at him because she felt flustered. She apologized to them and took a seat. They ordered the food and started chatting.

"Yoona, I want to ask what type of boyfriend do you want?" Chanyeol asked abruptly, which made both of them choke on their food.

Seeing Yoona choking, Baekhyun handed her a tissue for her to wipe the sauce off her mouth.

"Why you ask so suddenly? Do you want me to choke this bad?" Yoona was angry and blamed Chanyeol. Chanyeol apologized to her and helped her.

"So can you answer now?" Chanyeol asked again as he really wanted them to be together.

"For me, I have already found my other half."

"Hah?!!! What are you saying?" Chanyeol opened his eyes hugely with a shocked expression.

Yoona put her hand up for him to stop talking. "Listen to me first, ok?! Calm down." Chanyeol nodded and listened carefully.

"He has a really sweet smile, is kind, tall, and works hard. His laugh is so pretty with his rectangle mouth. He might wear glasses sometimes, but he still looks handsome." Yoona was so shy when she described the person who was sitting in front of her. While Baekhyun smiles proudly because of his girlfriend's description.

Chanyeol observed their reaction and knew what was going on. He sensed something was going on with his best friends.

"You too?! Together?" Chanyeol, with his suspicious eyes, questioned them. They couldn't hold their smile, they just nodded lightly. Chanyeol was shocked that he nearly fell off his chair like an ice melt.

"You two are really a match in heaven. How come you didn't tell me?" Chanyeol felt like he had been left out by them. He felt downhearted.

"I thought we were family."

"Sorry! Chanyeol-ah, we couldn't find the right time to tell you." Seeing Chanyeol like this, they felt apologetic towards him. They didn't expect the prank to turn out to be like this. To make up for it, they promised to do things that he commanded.

Feeling spirited by this suggestion, he smirked and came up with an idea. "I want both of you to kiss in front of me."

Baekhyun and Yoona were speechless and tried to reject this idea. They came up with an excuse that they could do everything but not this because they were embarrassed.

They couldn't win Chanyeol, so they accepted the offer. Baekhyun kissed lightly on Yoona's forehead with embarrassment. While Chanyeol clapped loudly, seeing their sweet affection.

"Enough, you too get a room." He joked around as he looked like a third wheel there.
