Coincidence or destiny?

Chapter 9

After telling all the story to Chanyeol, Baekhyun breathed deeply after remembering all the painful memories.

"Chingu, don't be so sad. If she didn't accept you before, now she can change her mindset because she never had a boyfriend until now." Chanyeol said while putting his arm around Baek's shoulder.

"But how could you know she is not?"

"Because I've met her for 3 years and she never had once," Chanyeol said.

"Okay, I'll try another chance. Thank you for listening to my painful story. It's time to go to the meeting."

Then they took a step towards the meeting room. All the workers stood up and bowed to them.

"You can all have a seat. Thanks." Chanyeol said and the presentation started.

After nearly one hour, the meeting ended and Baekhyun told them, "Okay, I'll accept all the demands and requests. Just give this to my secretary Kim. I'll read it one more time and I'll send you the final decision."

Everyone clapped and then they said goodbye to each other. After everyone left, Chanyeol said to Baekhyun, "Want to grab lunch together?"

"Okay, I accept it." He smiled at him.

"Yoona-shi, you should come with us too," Chan said to her, but she shook her hand.

"It's okay, you should eat together. I don't want to be in the middle." Yoona gave them an excuse.

"Nooo, you worked so hard, so I'll give you a meal. Even if you don't want it, it's still my demand." Chanyeol acted like a boss to her so that she could go with them in a serious tone.

"Arraso, I'll go." They walked to the elevator and rode their car to a famous restaurant near the company.

Yoona, who was behind the two tall men, couldn't see around much. She just walked after them until they stopped and made their way to the seating area.

"Welcome, here is the menu." The waiter gave them the menu. After taking all those notes, she made her way to the kitchen.

The air between them was so quiet, it made them really awkward. Chanyeol butted in, "You two are so quiet. Baekhyun, don't you always the mood maker? Why are you so silent? "

"I just feel not well today."

"How about you, Yoona?" Yoona looked a bit surprised and answered. "Hah... I'm not a good speaker anyway. You don't know. "

"It completely slipped my mind. You don't speak to strangers." Chanyeol just put more gas on Baekhyun's pain, but it's true.

Hearing what Chanyeol said made Yoona feel a bit guilty when she saw Baekhyun's sad face.

Then the mood became even more awkward until the waiter came. "Here is your food. Please appreciate it."

"Yeah!!! Finally, food comes." Chanyeol was the first one to speak to break the ice between them. Then they started to eat all of it till the last spoon.

Yoona voices out "Thank you Chanyeol-shi for the food." (She calls him by his name when they are out.)

After they consumed all the food, they bid goodbye to Baekhyun and went to work again.
