Chapter 8

Flashback to their story

In their first year of high school, on the last day.

"Do you like Baekhyun?" One of their friends asked. "No, I don't," Yoona answered with her's head shake in front of that person's name and she walked out of there.

"Does she really don't like me or is she just shy?" Baekhyun asked his friends who were the ones who asked Yoona's opinion. "I think maybe the second choice because her personality is like that," Kyungsoo told him to soften his feelings.

All of the confessions made them really felt awkward, but they still study with each other till they graduated. On the last day, Baekhyun still wanted to confess for the last time to her, and he did. 

"Yoona, can I talk to you for a while?" Baekhyun was in a nervous state. 

"Okay!"

After talking a little bit, Baekhyun mustered up his courage. At one part of the park, 

"Can........... you........ be... my girlfriend?"

"Sorry, I don't love you."

"What...... did you just...... say? Reason... What's the reason? " Baekhyun said with a shaking tone while his eyes could be seen in tears inside.

"The reason is you're younger than me and you've had a girlfriend before."

"What's wrong with age? It's been 5 years since I broke up with her. Didn't you know about that too?"

"It's not wrong or right about the number, but it's just me who doesn't want a noona-dongsaeng relationship and I also knew it too. For me, I want a relationship that is clean with no one in between."

"But I already have a clean cut with her and we are only 2 months apart."

"I'll make it more clear. I want someone who has never known love, someone who is older than me, someone who has never experienced it. Also, even though it's one day apart, you're still younger than me too." "Then, if you already heard it, I'll make my way. Sorry and goodbye." She bowed to him and walked out, acting like nothing, but she also hurt inside too, because she also had a little feeling for him, but because of his age, she couldn't love him as she didn't want someone who was younger.

Listening to all the words that she said made him feel like a knife stabbed slowly into his heart, that he couldn't even breathe like the world was stopping and leaving him behind in the darkness. No one saw him because he was in a quiet place.

After hours, he came back to reality and talked to himself, "Baekhyun, it's alright, this is already the second rejection, you don't have to feel the pain." This second rejection made him even greater pain than when he broke up with his ex. It hurt him. It could have made him die.

After all that happened, he started to study and get a better job and a better degree. He started to build his own company and make his name famous throughout the world, and now he met her again.
