Chapter 35

A week had passed. Yoona woke up to the ringtone of the alarm clock near her bed. She got up and turned it off furiously.

"How stupid I am. Why did I forget to turn off the alarm?" Yoona felt frustrated because of her clumsiness, or else she would have another long deep sleep. Having no feeling to continue sleeping, she went to the bathroom to wash up to start the day.

Before washing up, she opened a streaming application to stream EXO's comeback song that was just posted yesterday. She went to sleep late because of the streaming, the struggle of every fan.

After taking a shower, she went down to eat breakfast as it was the weekend. For her date with Baekhyun, it was postponed to next week because he had a business trip. Thus, she would spend her time today with her family.

"Yoona, here!?" Her mother shouted from the kitchen when she heard the footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Yes, mom. Need help?" Yoona came into the kitchen and appeared behind her mother's back.

"Prepare the plate." Yoona went to take the plates and arrange them on the table with the help of her brother. After cooking, she helped her mom to set the food on the table. Then they sat on the chairs as usual and ate breakfast.

"Yoona-ah, your relationship... how is it?" Her mom suddenly asked her while she was picking up the food.

Yoona looked up with embarrassment in front of her family. "Mom!!!" All of them laughed at her reaction, which made the breakfast even more lively.

"We... we just met each other for a month. Still a little awkward. "

"Any skinship? Hold hand? ... kiss?" Her mom teased her and waited for the answer. Her father and brother were also curious about her relationship.

She looked back and forth and answered, "We have already held hands. And..... he just kissed me on the forehead because of Chanyeol. " Her cheeks were covered in blush.

"Ohhhhhh... my daughter! You want him to kiss you by himself right!" After letting out the last sentence, her mom grins while patting her shoulder.

"Yoona!... We haven't heard your answer yet. Don't forget! " Her mom moved the target to her again with a smirking on her face.

"Mom! I'm not that kind of girl, but I expect a bit too. " She smiled shyly with embarrassment. Every girl wants her boyfriend to kiss her by themselves, not because of someone else's pressure, right?

Seeing that their daughter had grown up, they felt happy as parents. The interaction made them even more intimate and close-knit. They felt happy to eat at the same place and time together at the same table while chatting and sharing their lives with each other. After that, they relaxed on the sofa in the living room together.

In the afternoon, the doorbell of Yoona's house suddenly rang. Yoona got up from the sofa and went to the door. Seeing a delivery man in the video, Yoona asked her family if anyone had ordered anything. They replied no. Finally, Yoona opened the door with curiosity.

"Hello! Are you Kim Yoona-shi?" Yoona nodded her head and responded yes.

"Here is your package! Someone sent this to you. Please sign here!" The delivery man handed her the paper for her to sign. After signing with wonder, she returned the man's pen.

After that, she closed the door with the package in her hand. She shook the package to make sure what was in it. Her family watched her actions and asked. "Who?"

"I don't know. I'll open it." She went to take the knife to slash the transparent tape. She became stunned when she witnessed the objects in it.

"Who... who is so generous?" She gasped at the sign of valuable objects in the package.

"What is it? Why do you need to be surprised?" Her brother asked to see his dongsaeng acting exaggeratedly.

"Here!" She lifted the object carefully so as not to leave any stain.

"OMG, why do you need to scare us like this? I thought it was something serious." Her family shook their heads as if she had always been like that.

"EXO's album... Oh! There is a card here. " She lifted the card and opened it to read it.
