Wagner's P.O.V

As soon as I felt the stinging of the glass hitting my legs, I was using the seat in front of me to stand to my feet. My heart was already pounding as I glanced at Firess, seeing everyone had fled from the bus, chasing her. I could actually just walk out of the bus.

I stepped into the aisle, looking around, my hands still attached together with a thick piece of rope. I made my way to the door and quietly, but my left foot dragging, my ankle had been broken whenever I was back at their compound. The bus smells of rotten corpses and alcohol. I wrinkle my nose at the smell and shake my head lightly, trying to get rid of the putrid smell. I'm about four steps from the door of the bus, but a large grunt or scream comes from the left of me, and I feel arms surround me and push me into the rest the seat to right of me. I let out a large yell of my own and look up.

I snarl, seeing Chandler was the one who tackled me into the seat. I bring my hands up quick, both in fists. I smile, seeing I hit his chin and nose in just one blow. He curses under his breath, holding his hand up, and letting it come down with force, only to hit my shoulder. I have to admit, it did sting. I let out a yell, standing up and using both hands to push him down into the seat he jumped out of. He let's out a grunt and smirks at me.

"A-Aria." Chandler said quietly. His smirk disappeared and his eyes filled with hatred and coldness. He pushed me off of him, but stayed lying there in the seat. He let out a huff of air, his hair that was covering his eyes falling to the side. "Aria.." He whispered loudly, as if I was supposed to hear it.

I raised an eyebrow, tilting my head. I was standing, my hands still bound together. He shook his head, turning his body to where his face was hidden. He let out a large sob, saying her name again. I took a step back, and then another, and yet again another before I turned around and raced off the bus as fast as I could. My heart was racing. I closed my eyes as I ran, it was a huge open feild beyond the trees.

The tall grass was up to my shoulders, makes sense, it being the apocalypse. I bit my lip, stopping and trying to listen to any sounds that would lead me to Rainy. I let out a sigh, looking behind me before starting to just walk instead of run.

I soon free tired, my stomach churning from the hunger. My head felt like it was on fire, a huge gash on the side of my face, from my hairline down to the corner of my eye.

Looked up, thinking I heard running, someone breathing heavily, someone crying. I looked around, my eyes scanning the plains, but I saw no one. Not a soul. Not even any stalkers. Strange.

I just shrug it off and continue limping through the tall grass, only looking up when I hear a small noise. When the wind blows or when a leaf falls from a tree.

I stop to catch my breath and close my eyes.

What the hell am I doing here?

I ask myself, wondering how and why I'm still alive. All the people in know are either dead or I probably won't ever see them ever again. I look up and stretch my back, letting out a groan as if I had just woken up.

I feel something grab my ankle and go tumbling to the ground, trying to catch myself, but my wrist only bends awkwardly, a small crack making me cry out in pain.

I quickly start to crawl forward, still groaning I'm pain. I kick my foot harshly, but the hand clamping around my ankle still tightly. I groan again, trying not to move my wrist to much as I glance down. One of the men from the bus is latching onto my ankle, his eyes wide, blood rolling down from his forehead. I shake my head, kicking once more and hearing another crack, breaking the man's nose. The sound made my brain shake, my ears rattle. I quickly pulled away, struggling to stand; my wrist killing me. The man lay still. Unmoving but still breathing. I crouched down to take a closer look, squinting my eyes. He looks so familiar, I can't put my finger on it.

My brain starts shaking as I hear a loud crash come from a distance, as well as a frustrated scream. "W-What..?" I limp forward, trying to go faster, nearly just dragging my leg along.

I've been panting for a while, just now noticing the small sweat beads running down the sides of my face, drilling off the end of my nose. I'm holding my wrist tightly, trying to keep it from moving around so much.

My stomach drops as I hear another yell, my heart daring to pound right out of my chest. That's the sound of a girl, an 18 year old girl. "Hello?!" I yell loudly, my voice cracking, my throat beginning to hurt after the first yell.

I go ahead and keep limping forward. My eyes searching for anyone, anything. I stop in my tracks, hearing my name called. I turn my head a little, nearly dropping to my knees.

"Rainey."

My words were so quiet as I ran forward faster and faster, wrapping my arms around her tightly, falling to the ground with her on top of me. She held herself up with her hands, her long hair hanging just off her shoulder.

"Wagner..." She said with a large smile, closing her eyes tightly as her lips suddenly crashed against mine, but she quickly pulled away as a small thud could be heard.

"Allyson?." Her voice was shaky. "ALLYSON, GET UP!" She yelled again, hovering over Allyson's body.

"W-Where's Aria?" I whispered quietly. Rainey turned around to face me, her hands resting on Allyson's shoulder.

"I don't know."
