Firess's P.O.V

I squint my eyes at the man named Gage.

"You mean..MY parents? Started this...cure?" I whisper quietly to him. He only gives a small nod. I close my eyes, thinking of all the people that had the cure right under their noses. Aria, Rainey, Allyson, Cade.. Jason.. Austin..

I shake my head, opening my eyes quickly. "Wagner." I say aloud, staring at the man standing in front of me. "Where is he? Is he here?" Rainey and Wagner were taken together. So he must be here.

The man shakes his own head, standing up straight. "Sorry." He said in a loud whisper. I look down at my feet, taking a small breath and shaking my head. "He's lying.." I told myself. I keep staring at the ground, my eyes widening. The Cure.

I am the cure. I look back up him, he's just waiting impatiently, for what? I have no clue. I let out a small laugh, shaking my head at myself.

"C-cure.. All those people. Dead." I say loudly, some people of the few looking to me. I lick my lips, tasting a bit of blood. I go to move my arm, to see if I'm still bleeding, but it doesn't move, being strapped down to the chair I'm sitting in.

I look at the table, screaming inside.

"We're taking you to Florida. There's a camp there, saying that they have a way to make a cure, but they need a blood sample from someone who can't be affected, and we've finally found someone. You." I shake my head, letting out a reluctant noise.

"N-No! I'm not leaving without my friends!" I yell at him. He pinches the bridge of his nose with his thumb and pointer finger.

"I'm sorry, but you're going." He nodded, walking around the table, and stopping behind me, putting his hands on my shoulders. I shiver lightly, looming to the side, and waiting for something to happen. He leaned down, his lips right next to my ear. "You're going." I clench my jaw together, biting my lip harshly, drawing blood once again. I close my eyes tight, taking a small breath. "We will be escorting you. Me, a man name Jackson, a man named Zack, And a man named Chandler."

I cringe at his name, despising it with everything I own and have, and ever had.

Dear Diary,

I ran outside, seeing Firess on the ground, as well as Rainey. My hand was already slowly but surely reaching for my gun, for that was the only thing I could do. Once Chandler forced Firess to stand, and started walking to those men, I grabbed it, holding it up, and aiming. I hit Chandler. They still got away with Firess, but Chandler is not dead.

Rainey's okay, so is Allyson. And so am I. All of us are just fine.

Once it was all over, I rushed to Rainey, grabbing her arms and pulling her inside. It's just us now. I'm the only sane one. Allyson is crazy, Rainey is sad, depressed, doesn't know what to do with herself. And then there's me. The one keeping us alive.

Today was not a good day. Neither was yesterday. Every time Firess comes back, she either goes a little bit crazy and leaves, or is taken by someone. This time, I'm not sure if she's gonna a come back or not.

Well, goodnight, diary.

I yelled at them ad they grabbed my shoulders and squeezed them tight in their big hands. "Get off me!" I yelled loudly at them. They only flinched at my high, piercing voice. Not even caring. I threatened them I would kill them, kill myself, run away, everything I could. Nothing worked. I didn't resist anymore when I was out on the bus. They had untied me, and had given my weapons back. I was dreading this moment. The moment I would see Chandler, after what had just happened. I only trusted him once. And that was because Aria did. I sat down quietly, the bus like a school bus, but blue. I leaned my head against the seat in front of me, letting out a small sigh.

I gasped quietly, looking over to see Gage sitting next to me. But when I look in front of me, Chandler sits with a wound on the side of his face. I smiled, seeing that it was Aria's shot that had nicked him. Once he noticed my staring, I looked away again, letting out a huff of air.

Well, if they're gonna get me there, I'm gonna make it hard on them.

I smiled to myself, sitting up and leaning against the back of the seat of the bus. I waited until the bus started to move before I started to speak. "I'm hungry." I said loudly, making sure everyone heard me. I heard a voice behind me, laughing for a moment and then saying 'Yea. Me too.' I turned around quickly, smiling bright, getting on my knees in the seat, my eyes widening as well as my smile. "Wagner!"

I let out a laugh, giving him a fist bump and nodding. "Finally, it's good to see you." He nodded, the skin around his jaw stained a light purple color, probably from a punch. His wrists bound together by heavy string. Gage grabbed my shoulder, pulling me down, and giving me a look that made me want to cry. I nodded, seeing in his eyes he wanted me to sit down and shut up. I turned around frequently, mouthing words to Wagner. We devised a plan. I started to wiggle in my seat. Grabbing the attention of Gage who was sitting next to me.

"What's wrong?" I glanced in Wagner's direction, seeing him nod. I leaned over to Gage and sighed.

"I have to pee.." I whispered. He nodded and stood his feet, walking to the front of the bus and leaning over to tell the driver. I watched him carefully as he came back.

"Get up." He told me fiercely. I tilted my head at him. Using the seat in front of me to stand up and follow him out of the bus. I looked back at him for a moment and tilted my head.

"Are you gonna turn around?" His cheeks flushing a light shade of pink, he turned his hear nodding. I looked in Wagner's direction, looking behind me at the trees. I leaned down, grabbing a large rock. I never played sports or anything, but one of my friends taught me how to throw a football.

I grunted. Throwing the rock at Wagner's window, the glass shattering into a thousand pieces. Gage turned my way, reaching to grab me, but failing. Everyone in the bus came out, going after me, not worrying about the window. Thus comes Wagner's escape. Now all I have to do is run.

I turned towards the trees, started to run, not looking back, not listening to anything, only my heart beat in my own ears.
