Chapter 29: Dreaming

Firess's P.O.V

The wolves had gone away in our sleep, having to stay in hiding for a long long while. When u opened my eyes, people had only just started to leave their 'Hidey Holes'. The ginger haired boy, The tall man with dark, swoopy like hair, and one of the two brothers, the light haired one, had all left their places. My head throbbed quickly with pain.

"Hey, Blondie. Get your ass over here and help me." My eyes lifted as a male's voice filled my ears, the tall dark haired boy said to me, hovering over a female body.

"I don't see how you're the boss of me?" I asked and raised an eyebrow, slowly lowering my self from the branch I was on. The sun was long gone, far away from the horizon, hidden behind the hills of la la land in the distance.

"I was the boss before, I'm the boss now." He murdered and looked at me with sharp eyes. My face grimaced at his words as I looked up at Allyson and Aria, both of them silently sleeping, as well as Gage and the dark haired brother.

"This is my turf -" I said solemnly. "My house, my rules. No yelling at me and forcing me to do things. I make the rules here, you make the rules in that there helicopter." I said and did just as he asks though, making way to lean over his shoulder. "I'm Firess, by the The way." I whispered bin a quote tone, hearing a small yawn. My body turned around but see Gage, making his way away from the treeline and out into the tell grass where the few of us that were awake were standing.

"Morning crazy hair." I said and looked back down at the guy leaning over the body.

"Luke here." He said, referring to his name. "That tall ginger haired kid with the freckles who looks absolutely clueless is David. And the two guys, the dark haired one is Devon, and the light haired one is Samuel." He started slowly, making sure I got all the words down correctly.

"O-Okay.." I whispered and tilted mg head slightly. I pursed my lips slightly and narrowed my eyes as a hand clamped down on my shoulder.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Gage whispered over my shoulder. Luke stood to his feet and took his jacket off, putting it over his sister's face.

"Umm.. nothing." I said quietly before being pulled to the side quickly, away from Luke. Gage held onto my wrist tightly and turned me to look at him harshly.

"We don't need all these fucking people here.. they're only going to get in the way.." Gage hissed at me. I opened my mouth to speak to him, but no words came out. "We need to get to Florida right now!" His words were sharp, but his big brown eyes were soft and comforting. I pulled my hand and took a small step back.

"I told you already.. I'm not going to Florida. How would we even get there?" My eyes wide with anger and curiosity.

"Helicopter." He said and gestured towards it. My eyes shifted to the right to see Luke scouting the premises for stalkers and more wolves. I Shrugged slightly.

"That helicopter can only fit at most six people.." I whispered and grabbed his arm.

"That's You, Me, Aria, Allyson, Chandler, and one other.. no way they'll just.. If give it to us." I narrowed my eyes and pressed my hands against my face, leaving my eyes in a soothing darkness. He put his hands on my shoulders and let out a heavy breath. "I don't know what to do.." My voice was slightly muffled by my hands covering my mouth. Gage's hands moved my hands away from my face, shaking his head slowly as my hands fell down to my sides.

"Don't worry... Absolutely everything is going to be okay.."

Once everyone was awake, we were on the move. No sign of Rainy had been anywhere. If she was still alive, we all know she's fighting and trying her hardest. In the front of the line, Gage, Chandler, and Luke seemed to be talking. Devon and Samuel, the brothers, were walking next to each other. David, the ginger haired boy seemed to be getting along with Allyson. Aria and I brought up the back.
