Near the ending..

Chapter 40

     Today is Mikasa's birthday and
their baby is now nine weeks, her belly is now visible but it is not too visible. The party will begin at five p.m at the Ackerman household, a small gathering with their friends and lots of food were serve by the caterer and the chef of their house. The birthday girl is in her room and wearing black maternity clothes that complimented her pale white skin. Her long black hair is in a Bohemian braid, and she has a light make-up on, her nails are painted red.

Hange, Levi and Hannah is here, wearing matching clothes that Hange probably insisted them on
with a crazy smile on her face.

Armin,Annie, the twins- Mason and Marielle, and the baby Khai is also here. The twins are wearing matching clothes too. The blonde, blue eyed family. Of course, do you expect them to have a brown haired, brown eyes kid?

Sasha and Nicolo especially flied from Marley to here just to attend her birthday party.  Connie is also here, looking at the food with dreamy eyes, mouth watering as he dreamed of savoring all of those,   Sasha tried to keep herself from doing the same thing but she soon joined Connie in his dream Land.

Her ob gyne is also here, together with Marlowe and their one year old child, light green eyes and black hair, the kid's name is Philip.

"Marlowe? Hitch!" Annie surprisingly called them and went to their direction. "I didn't expect you guys to be here." The boy, Philip, hide on his mother's skirt.

"Oh, Philip didn't want to but I need to get him out of his comfort zone, he needs Friends too." 

" I don't need friends. " The boy queitly said, pouting. Hitch look down to her son and rub his black  hair.

"Yes, you do." She answered her son.

Mikasa smiled when she saw Eren coming down to her room with a smile on his face and a small box in hand. He gave it to her with a grin on her face.

"I know you hate necklace so I bought you an earring." She look up at him, getting the black box out of his hand. She opened it and stared, she look at him again with tears started gathering on the corner of her eyes.

"You don't have to."

"It's your birthday."

It was an earring , obviously it looks expensive and customize. It had a letter M on it which stands for her name. She's not into necklace, she thought it is suffocating and she like earrings so much. Eren couldn't help it but smile at her.

"Let me put your earrings in your ears."

" It has a letter M on it, my name." She grinned at him. " This is too expensive but anyway you are the greatest gift for me."

" Eww.." they both laugh, " but seriously, thank you."

The party started and Mikasa is greeted by her group of friends
with Eren tailing behind her ofcourse, she's pregnant, she needed support.

"Mikasa!" Sasha called her and she went towards her friends. " Looking pretty as always."

"Ofcourse, there is no time that I, Mikasa Ackerman, is ugly. "

" Yes, there is no ugly Mikasa. " Hitch grinned. " How is my patient? You'll be needing check up soon enough, it's just sad that the babies gender won't be determined for his birthday. "

" Yes, I know. " She pouted, " but I can give him a sonogram picture of our baby  for his birthday. "

" Auntie!" The twins run up to her with matching smiles and greeted her. " Happy 26th birthday tita and congratulations for your baby."

" You kids, I'm getting really old." She Dramatically stated.

" Brats.."

That voice, they look down and was met by Levi's intimidating gray eyes. A senior by a couple of years or let's just say a decade and four years. The man wasn't smiling but he hand her a box , his gift, ofcourse , no matter how neat he is, he is not good when it comes to wrapping gifts.

"Happy birthday, you've grown a lot."

" Yes, we all have outgrown you." She whispered but he seems to hear it , he glared at her. " What did you just say?"

"No, nothing. Hannah and Hange are taking pictures. Take a pic with them."  The man left them after that.

" Your brave." Sasha commented.

" Ofcourse, I am." She flip her hair. " How do you like my hair?"

"Isn't Bohemian braid?"  Sasha ask, " I should try it , I think I would look good with it, for my wedding day. "

" What wedding day? " Mikasa's eyes twinkled and the other girls stared at her too.

"Err..It wasn't now but in the near future." She rolled her eyes and flip her long brown hair. " Err.. Nicolo's not yet proposing."

"You two did it without proposal?"

" You heard that? " Sasha blushed, " I--I need food right now."

The birthday party ended and their friends go home, they took pictures and laugh together the whole night  and now it's just her and Eren. He smiled at her like he just won a jackpot.

"You think that earring is my birthday gift to you?"

"There's more?"

" Yes, let's go. I will drive for you."

"I'm excited," she grinned, kissing him on the cheeks and clapping her hands. "Baby, daddy is giving us something. What could it be?"

She began talking to their baby the entire ride , even though he is the best gift she had received her whole life, well gifts are gifts, she won't say no today.

"It will make your mother tear up."
