-XVII- (the broken vase)

 It's funny how our first formal meet up became one of my happiest night here in LOZE'RE after almost a week. We have another 3 weeks before going back home and I thought I'll be going home by next week because of an awkward moment of Irene and me.

It's so surprising for me who never trusting a stranger in a first meet up but ended up hooking with her diverted me into a different person when it comes with Ruby Jane.

She had this aura that I want to dive into. I am seeing myself that she is a different woman among others I hooked up. I may not know her personally, but she is giving me this feeling that I might respect her fully.

I found myself enjoying her company, laughing at our silliness and attentively listening on her story with her stupid husband. I just laugh on how she never want to even say the name of him. But I know Ruby doesn't want to tell me her full story as she will always change the topic when I will ask about her childhood days well it is fair enough cause I don't even want telling her any stories of mine or even just a single detail about me and I counted the times I was drawn into her eyes when she was talking about her and Nini or even when she was with her friends.

I'm getting lost at the moment when my focus will divert to her eyes, at how it sparkles when she talks about happy memories and her gummy smile that is my favorite thing about her.

Ruby Jane: "Pranpriya! you're spacing out again! is there something on my teeth?"

Lisa: "wh-what? No-- no. I'm just thinking something. I'm not staring at your lips."

Ruby Jane: "I didn't said lips, I said teeth Pranpriya! hahaha"

Lisa: "Why are you so consistent with my Asian name? Just call me Lili for fuck's sake!"

Ruby Jane: "oops! your word Pranpriya. I told you to stop cursing when my kid's around"

Lisa: "fine I'm sorry. but please not that Pranpriya. It makes me want to vomit!"

Ruby Jane: "fine then let me call you Poo-poo--"

Lisa: "but what's your problem with Lili?"

Her face diverts to the sky while we were sitting on the bench of my balcony while drinking my wine for the past hour.

Ruby Jane: "ahmm-- it's just that-- Lili? -- I know lots of your friends call you that and I want something unique you know?"

I breathe out with a smile on how she have an explanations and answers  on all questions or complains that I will tell her.

Lisa: "fine poopoo is cute just please not Pranpriya!"

She laughed and it's so sweet in my ears  and her smile? It is the most beautiful thing I've seen this day.

Ruby Jane: "Poopoo?"

Lisa: "hmmm?"

I sigh as I hummed to respond at her. She is still looking at the night sky as I looked at her side profile. Her perfect side profile.

She looked at me causing myself to look away and I know my face is a red tomato now but thanks to the wine that i will make an excuse when she asks about it.

Ruby Jane: "about that day that I spilled you coffee -- I mean..I saw how you reacted when you saw Irene-- I--I  don't want to pry and if you're not comfortable to talk about it it's o--"

Lisa: "she's my ex-girlfriend"

Ruby Jane: "wh-what? h-how?"

I looked at her as I met her gorgeous cat -eyes with a curious look.

Lisa: " you're going to ask about Irene and me right?"

Ruby Jane: "h-how did you--"

Lisa: "it's okay.. I mean she's your friend and we become friends an hour ago so it's okay. but--"

Ruby Jane: " but what?"

Lisa: "that's the only answer that I can give you. I'm sorry it's just that it's rude when I am the first one to open up to other people cause it's her story to tell so--"

Ruby Jane: "i see.. chivalry's not dead huh?" 

I winked at her causing her to scoffs and left her speechless.

Ruby Jane: "wh-wh-- what's with the wink poopoo? aissh--"

Lisa: "oops! no cursing word spilled queen, Nini's around"

I stood up when I saw her hand lifted up, and I know she will slap me non-stop like it's a hobby to her when she was caught off guard.

She also stood up and I start running around and inside my unit while she is running after me , holding her slippers to throw it at me because of her irritation as I tease her.
Lisa: " I will tell Nini you keep on cursing me!"

Ruby Jane: "shut it liar! ahhh"

A sound of a broken glass heard from my back.

Ruby Jane: "oww shit! shit! shit! I'm sorry Pran"

I looked back and shocked as I saw not because the vase of my room is on the floor and broken into pieces but her eyes is in the verge of crying.

I felt a pang on my chest because of the sight.

Lisa: "hey! stop there! D-d-don't move! I will get the vacuum to clean it just don't fucking move okay?!"

I shake my head from my thoughts while getting the vacuum on the stock room thinking maybe we are both tipsy at the moment that's why we are very sentimental and emotional with little things.

She nods as her tears started to flow and her sniffs can be heard.

Lisa: "Okay don't move I will clean this-- shit!"

I saw her left leg flows some  blood but not too much as my worries starting to rise up killing the tipsiness in my head and it makes sense on how she reacted that way. And maybe she's that weak in blood or something.

She keep standing while sniffing as I vacuum around her. I looked at her and she is looking down not knowing what to do. I put down the vacuum and walk towards her. She flinched the moment I lifted her up, carrying her in a bridal way. Her eyes in shocked inches away to mine as my heart's been pounding real crazy from the distance. 

 My eyes landed on her lips and saw her did the same thing but I shake out the thought of kissing her for my priority is to clean her wounds from the broken vase.

I put her down slowly on the same bench we sat on at the balcony because of the thought that maybe some small particles of the vase was scattered on the couch. But this sexualtension between us keeps my body heated and my heart like gonna explode.

Lisa: "I will just- I - I will just get the medicine to clean -- yeah-- to clean your wound"

She just nod and I know she feels the same way as how she forgot that her left leg is bleeding.

Lisa: "I need to get it now.."

Ruby Jane: "n-now?"

Lisa: " yeah now.. as in. now.. i guess"

Ruby Jane: "oh-- okay.."

 "fuck! Lisa calm your tits down!"

I screamed myself whispering making sure Ruby will not gonna hear it. I got the medicine box on the restroom's cabinet and do the three counts inhale and exhale routine to calm myself and walk back to Ruby.

Lisa: "ahm hey! I got it!"

I saw how her eyes is acting focused at the sky to ignore my presence. but her nervousness is oblivious on her.

She looked away when I tilt her body to face me while I'm sitting sideways from her and lift her left leg then put it on top of mine.

She flinched a little as soon as I wiped the blood with a wet tissue. I blew the wound as her eyes tightly closed. I chuckled silently from the sight.

Lisa" cute"

Ruby Jane: "aww. please be gentle poopoo"

She pouted and gosh! I want to bite those lips!

Lisa: "fuck!"

I unintentionally said causing her to clear her throat.

Ruby Jane: "ehem! you cursed again!"

Lisa: "did I?" 

With the final placing of the plaster on her wound, I slowly put down her legs as the medicine  box on the side. Silence filled us when she cleared again her throat.

Ruby Jane: " ahmm.. ehem! poopoo, I think I should get to sleep after I clean up that --"

Lisa: "n-no it's okay.. I can handle that"

Ruby Jane: "But-"

She stood up as I walk towards her to guide her by pushing the back of her shoulders slowly.

Lisa: "no more buts spilled queen, just rest beside Nini then I will take the couch"

Ruby Jane: "wait! are you sure?"

She stops when I opened the bedroom door and faced me.

Lisa: "hmm. there's no way I will let you sleep there so go! shoo"

Ruby Jane: "owwwkay- thank you poopoo...i mean for everything"

Lisa: "well, you have a great kid there, you must thank her! I mean she's too smart. I learned a lot  from her with life and stuffs."

I chuckled and she looked at Nini and look at me again.

Lisa: "goodnight Spilled Queen just lock the door okay and if you need anything just--"

I was shocked.

My eyes grew wide.

Before I step back my foot out, Ruby Jane pull my arms and kissed me. It lasted for three seconds and we both pull away.

Ruby Jane: "I'm so sorry i didn't mean to - it's just that --"

Before she continue speaking, I'm the one who pull her and kiss her as my adrenaline rush did it. It was a quick move that makes my heart flutter from her kiss as I found our lips in sync. Before we get even more heated, we slowly stops as we panting hard.

Ruby Jane: "Ni- Nini might wake up"

She whispered shyly as we both looked at her.

Lisa: "of course-- goo-goodnight Ruby"

Ruby Jane: "goodnight poopoo"

With her last kiss on my cheeks, I closed the door and the smile on my face is oblivious until the darkness filled my whole mind.
