Things went smooth for many years and Nini turned 5 when everything's become a mess to the both of us. Kai changed after knowing that we can't have another baby because he got the disease called Azoospermia.
        >> It means there's no sperm in a man's ejaculate. Its causes include a blockage along the   reproductive tract, hormonal problems, ejaculation problems or issues with testicular structure or function.

He became cold-heart man, drunkard and even got no time for us. He still provides everything for us but his presence was like never existed. And after a year of ups and downs and downs and more downs, Kai and I broke up.

Yes. Broke up not divorced.

I found out that Kai secretly had a first family and been married to his long-time partner in the city and our marriage got nulled or illegal.

Me and Nini went down town. A very far place were no one knew us. A small city that made my vibe felt for a brand new star. Lore'ze.

I don't know where to go and my money was enough for us in good 3-days for food and I don't have money for an apartment. While we are sitting on the sand
looking at the beach I'm familiar with, the beach I used to dream with that skinny lady, a small lady who looks foreign like me in Paris with a pair of sunglasses approached me.
The lady took off her sunglasses and to my surprised, It's Mrs. Bruischweller. My eyes got wide as things about Lisa suddenly rushed inside my head. I looked around to find if she was with her mom but Mrs. Brusichweller tapped my shoulder that got my attention on her. Nini popped out her head with a fear reaction from Lisa's mom's behind which divert my questions about Lisa on her.

Ruby: "Nini why are you there come here baby"

Mrs.Bruischweller:"I supposed you're the mom or sister cause you look young to be a mom"

She calmly approached and she still has it. That soft voice mixed with a minimal tone that was so trustworthy to talk with if she was a stranger to me. But for me she's not. Well maybe for her cause obviously
it looks like that she recognized me at all. I was about to ask Lisa's whereabouts when the thought of my step-father's threats came inside my mind.

Sadness fill me but I believe in fate will bring us together soon.

Mrs. Bruischweller: "are you okay?"

Ruby Jane: "yes Aunt-- I mean madam. I'm Ruby Jane and yes I'm the mother. Is there any problem with my daughter?"

She sigh and formed a smile as she looked back at my daughter and held her hand to bring her for me.

Mrs. Bruishweller: "ahmm. please don't be mad at her but your kid here.. I mean it's my fault too cause I don't look at my way while walking .. ahmmm"

Ruby: "ma'am it's okay I will never hurt my kid"

She sigh again like she's the one who made mistake like the humble Aunt Chittip I used to know.

Mrs Bruischweller: "yeah yeah of course. ahmmm. well she was running maybe she's enjoying the sand and bumped to me and I dropped my phone from the--"

Ruby: "Oh my! Ma'am I'm really sorry with that but we just got moved here and don't know where to go"

My eyes gets blurry from seeing her phone with a broken screen and all I had in mind was how to pay for it cause I'm broke and nothing but a 100 dollar bill on my pocket with lots of coins.
But I was shocked when she hold my hand with a concern look on her face, not noticing tears running down my cheeks as she wiped it with her other hand.

Mrs Bruischweller: "it's not what I came here for young lady"

She smiled at me like everything was okay. Like my kid didn't broke her top of the line phone. I can even give mine but it's kinda disgusting with my old school iPhone that was turning off itself alone.

Mrs Bruischweller: "i just came here to see you cause your kid reminds me some kid 15 years ago. A kid who changed my only child into a person she is now"

she is referring to Lisa right? what does she mean I changed her? did she rebel now? she left her? I have no idea and I want know more but it will get her mom get confused if asked for more.
So i will believe again in fate.

Ruby: "I ahhmm- I don't know what to say ma'am but can you please give me your number so I can pay you when I find a job?"

She stayed quiet but remain calm oblivious on her face.

Mrs Bruischweller: "you wanted to pay for my broken phone Ruby/"

Ruby Jane: "well of course ma'am."

Mrs Bruischweller: "then come and work in my cafe'. Don't worry I have an apartment for my employees for free"

My eyes begun to watery again as I can't help myself but hugged her feeling the happiness and loneliness at the same time again.

I was running late and my second-hand car Ford Mondeo that I bought from my co-waitress suddenly run out of gas but still lucky to find a near gas station beside a dine-in restaurant.
I sat on the nearest chair from the counter with my kiddo while waiting for my to-go breakfast when a group of people sitting on the corner caught my attention. The back of one of the girls with a beanie was a bit familiar but I don't have much friends so i let it slide, but all of them? they looked stunning and obviously rich even if they were wearing a casual clothes. . And I'm pretty sure the one on the beanie is also gorgeous even I only see her back and slight side profile.

I got a little envy at what life they have right now compared to my struggling life but when I looked at my little princess in front of me waiting patiently for her food, looking at the table of that gorgeous people,

I feel like I'm the luckiest person by having her despite of her genetic disorder called SAVANT SYNDROME.

Nini have this powerful mind that can easily memorized what she read, saw and even what she encounter. Even the dates, time and all the not important facts, it may store it in her mind.
Even when she saw a person from afar and just looked at it for 10 seconds, the image of her/his face, the clothes she wear even what she was doing will remain on Nini's mind. I bet she will
remember one of those people she was looking at.

crew: "two cinnamon rolls, 1 large honey caffe macchiato and 1 mini milk shake for Miss Ruby Jane please"

I didn't know that this is the way they serve people their take-outs or this lady crew who keeps looking and winking at the gorgeous people seem to like it that kinda caught other's people's attention and it made me shy as the group of people I saw earlier, looked at my way in my peripheral vision and thank goodness  that my hair is long and it made me hide my face a little.
