LISA 

Lisa: "Ah! finally! Nini's getting heavier as time goes by and maybe 3 or 4 years from now, she will be heavy like your cheeks Jennie"

I put down Nini on my bed as soon as we arrived at my hotel room. After a long conversation with my parents and the whole story that surprised us all that made us tired. I got curious when Jennie didn't answered my rants and remained quiet that caught my attention.

I look at her looking intently at me and Nini with tears started to fall on her cheeks while covering her mouth with both her hands. I quickly run at her making myself worried at her status.

Lisa: "hey.. are you okay? what happened?"

I caressed her arms and she walked out making me followed her outside leading me to the veranda. I slowly closed the door of my room to give Nini the peaceful sleep she needs and followed Jennie. She's so gorgeous even on her side profile looking up the sky with her arms crossed and eye closed. Tears are all gone and all I can see now is the chubby Jennie I used to play with. The girl I've been longing for years.

Her eyes is slowly opening and my heart begins to smile on its own. It slowly turning to my side and a flashback of us enjoying the moment like it was the last even though it was just our first meet. Her lips move upward and a smile formed instantly on her but her eyes says different. My flashback crashed and turns into worries.

Lisa: "hey"

Jennie: "hey"

It feels like we just met again for the first time.

Lisa: "you need to tell me something I can see it Ru- I mean Jennie"

I heard her chuckle and shed a tear.

Jennie: "I—"

She took a deep deep breath and ends it with a chuckle. A sad chuckle that even the trembling on her voice just above the whisper can be heard.

Jennie: "I think I need to ask you something Lisa. I don;t know if this is a big deal for you but it is for me and I hope it won't get —"

Lisa: "you can ask me anything just please be direct to the point cause seeing you this vulnerable makes me terrified for real"

Jennie: "please. I just need your honesty"

Lisa: "oh—okay"

She again took a deep breath and looked at me that made me turn myself to face her. I look at her wet eyes that is looking back at me so deep that I can lost in her stares.

Jennie: "If you didn't find out that I'm Jennie, do you still feel the same and love me like the way you feel right now as Ruby Jane?"

My brows both automatically raised as soon as I heard her question that made her be like this emotional. I closed my eyes turn myself again to look at the sky as I can't take it anymore and laugh at her reaction.

Lisa: "hahahahahhaha I - i'm sorry baby I just can't help it"

Jennie: "what the-? what's funny you moron!"

She keeps on slapping my shoulders while I continue laughing my ass off.

Lisa: "you sounded like mom stop it!"

Jennie: "yes!moron! moron! continue laughing I swear I will kill you!"

Shocked evident on her eyes widen and made her stop slapping my shoulder when I pull her arm and closed her inside my both arms embracing her.

Lisa: "My world crashed that day when I found out that you left the orphanage without my knowledge. Since that day, I knew how important you are for me. I can't love a girl like how I loved Jennie. There's no time that I never think of you, your whereabouts—"

I sniffed and she flinched and tried to escape from me to check up on me that maybe she is feeling the tears running down my cheeks as I tightened my embrace on her and she slowly raising her hands up and finally hug me in return.

Lisa: "I got my walls wrapped up around me and loving someone was out of my plan.. It took me years.. I mean so many years looking for you Jennie even my Dad and my friends telling me to stop but I don't want to stop. I can't stop."

Jennie: "shh.hush now baby"

Lisa: "I thought I will never gonna find you again and to be honest, I almost gave up but then, Ruby Jane came.. I met you."

I push myself a little to meet her eyes. she quickly wiped away my tears with her hands and I took the chance to grab it let it stay on my cheeks. I closed my eyes and continue smiling.

Lisa: "you changed my life Ruby Jane. I don't know why my heart beats madly whenever I'm near you. I'm not sure at first but I knew I'm in love with you. Not with Jennie and not with Ruby Jane but with you."

She is crying the moment I opened my eyes again and met hers. This time it's a different aura. She's happy and my heart is also happy after all the trials we've been through.

Jennie: "I love you too Pranpriya or Lisa. Whoever moron you are, I really really love you." I kissed both top of her hands and wiped my tears as we chuckle both ourselves and I took a deep breath.

Lisa: "Okay— Hi! I'm Lalisa Pranpriya Manoban"

I lift up my hand for her to shake and she quickly grab it and followed my act.

Jennie: "Hi I'm Jennie Kim, It's nice to meet you"

Lisa: "It's nice to meet you too Jennie so—"

Jennie: " so?"

Lisa: "Will you marry me Miss Kim?"

Jennie: "The audacity asking me that in our first met Miss Lalisa —but yes I will marry you"

Jennie: "look at the stars Lili!" 

little Jennie said to little Lisa while they were staring at the sky pointing out a star larger than others. 

Lisa: "which one Nini?" 

Jennie: "that yellow one! the brightest of them all!" 

Lisa: " that one?" 

Jennie: "yes that one!" 

Lisa: "what about it?" 

Jennie: "let's make a promise!" 

Both of the girls sat down on the blanket they used  to lay down. Jennie raised her closed hand up only raising her pinky finger. 

Jennie: "let's make a pinky promise Lili" 

Lisa did the same as their both pinkies crossed with each other . 

Jennie: "just follow me Lili" 

Lisa nod at her wondering what will the chubby kid will say. but still trusts her. 

Jennie: "I promise that whatever happens" 

Lisa:  "I promise that whatever happens"

Jennie: "even when we go on separate ways" 

Lisa: "even when we go on separate ways-- wait! you're leaving??"

Jennie: "Lili! " 

Lisa: "fine! I'm sorry Nini!" 

Jennie" now where are we? right! even when we go in our separate ways, we will just look at that star" 

Lisa: "we will just look at that star"

Jennie: "and trust the fate will bring us together again" 

Lisa: "and trust the fate will bring us together again."
