LISA

We gathered inside the cafe' were my parents told us to do so like a formal meeting with the employees in our company. My mom explained how they knew Jennie and Ruby Jane is the same person and how Kai was her ex-partner.

But one thing is really important right now that keeps bothering me.

Lisa: "then how'd you know about what's happening around here and that Jongin's past background?"

My audacity to asked them leaning my back on the chair with Jennie beside me and a sleeping Nini on my lap leaning her head on my shoulder with her arms wrapped around my shoulder. Well, I can't stop myself but to be brave and asked what's bugging me. 

Chittip: "they look like a beautiful family aren't they my love?" 

Marco: "yeah I agree! Lisa's a big girl now! look at them!" 

They were whispering with one another while giggling and ignoring what I've been asked.  I looked at my friends stopping themselves from laughing and my gazed turned to Jennie who keeps looking at the floor from being shy on what my parents keep on giggling about us. 

Lisa: "hey mom! you're not high school anymore stop with that! Don't get me humiliated here please" 

Chittip: "don't shout my child. My granddaughter is sleeping you moron!" 

Lisa: " Can we just be serious here mom? just for the night please?" 

Chittip: "fine.. fine.. okay I'll stop. It's just that our planned work and it's kinda amazing" 

Lisa: "Our plan? So the plan was to brought me here then met Jennie again when in the first place you should have told me that she's here and—"

Marco: "it was not that easy kid!"

Lisa :"dad for once, I'm not a kid anymore"

Marco: "fine. But like I said it was not that easy for Jennie because of her step father"

Jennie: "y-you knew that too Sir?"

Marco: "oh please Jennie! Just call me dad! and yes! thanks to your cousin!"

Jennie: "m-my cou—my what?"

Chittip: "oh yeah- ahmm"

I looked at my mom exchanged look with my dad in concern as if they are having a secret that somehow got revealed.

Lisa: "mom? dad? Jennie has a cousin?"

Jennie: "w-with all due respect ma'am-sir"

Chittip: "one more time with that formality Jennie, I will not let you marry my daughter"

Jennie: "i-I'm sorry mom, dad. It's just that. I don't remember having a cousin but—"

Lisa: "but what my love?"

I whispered when she stop herself from what she is trying to tell us. She looks puzzled and lost from her thoughts when someone spoke that made us shocked.

Jisoo: "It's not bad but it's not good- remember those lines? those lines we always told your mom when we were tasting tangulu and macaroons that we like to cooked when we we're kids Jendeukie?"

Jennie: "it's not bbad but—jendeu— what? Jen— jendeukie. Oh my ghad"

Her tears started to fall covering her lips with both of her hands with her eyes open wide not minding the tears running down her cheeks. She suddenly stood up from her sit like she just saw Jisoo for the first time.

For the first time, I saw Jisoo crying but happiness and longing for her cousin are oblivious through her eyes.

Seulgi: "man! I told you they were like blood-related with the features on their faces!"

Jungkook: "ouch! what's that for?!"

Irene: " can you please shut your mouth bear? you're ruining the mood"

Chaeyoung: "bear? when did the endearment starts?"

I saw Seulgi throw a dagger look to my best friend as I smirked that Seulgi quickly caught and made her scratch her nape.

I looked at Jungkook and signaled me that he has no idea about Irene and Seulgi's closeness.

Marco: "Ahm excuse me kids. I don't want to cut the drama between the Kim's but let me remind you Lisa, Rose', Seulgi and you Jeon you all need to get back your asses to the reality, the company needs you and we need to take a rest upstairs."

Chittip: "our room is right next to your room LIsa so if ever you need something you are welcome anytime okay? and we need to get back tomorrow morning."

Lisa:" what?!- wait! mom!"

Chittip: "let's talk tomorrow"

Lisa: "no! mom! Jennie and NIni needs me. h-here"

i didn't noticed how my last word faded like I am having doubts staying here on this beatiful Island but leaving Jennie and Nini is not in my plan anymore and that only means to one thing.

Staying.

My mom stops herself and look at us for the last time.

Chittip: "did I forget to say that they will come to us? irene already staying at the City and also Jisoo. They just went here for this drama"

Lisa: "how about this cafe'?"

I got a little startled when a deep voice from the back talks.

Chef Kang: "it's okay.. my wife and I used to manage this cafe' before you guys came"

Jisoo: "woah Chef! a wife?"

Irene: "and you're still here?"

Chef: "yeah! I've been listening to you all"

Jisoo: "wait! wait! I thought you like Jennie?!"

Chef: "well I do like Jennie if only I'm single but Jennie's love for Lisa is undeniable! oh! and I  think madam Chit forgot to mention that I'm one of her actors and yes I have a wife"

Irene: "a wife? how come I didn't knew that?"

Lisa: "who's your wife ?"

Chef: "there! she's my wife"

A loud sounds from a woman's heels can be heard getting near us. We all looked at who's wife did Chef Kang's trying to introduced when my eyes can't believe what I'm seeing.

Lisa: "Somi?!"

Somi walked passed me and went beside Chef Kang holding his arm and clinging to it.

Chef Kang kissed the top of her head and everyone surprised like I did.

Time passed and everything's so clear for us now. Their plan was successfully from start to finish and I am happy that finally! After long years, I have Jennie beside me now. All this time, Ruby Jane is Jennie Kim.

Lisa: "I can't believe this but it's time to go upstairs guys. Nini might need to straighten up her legs"

Jennie: " So we're going to stay on your room or my apartment?"

Lisa: "It's late ang Nini's tired"

Rose: "So this past few days without you inside your room, you're staying with Jennie's?"

I nod smiling widely and they all left dumbfounded.
