A comfortable and cozy place to enjoy a few bottles of beer. Alex is willing to drop his guard to have a good time.

Alex

We began to open one and another can as the minutes ticked by. I had forgotten to write to Johanna, call Alexa back, and even reply to Dad but I still had enough spirits and Miles was stalking my eyes every time I took a sip. When I thought everything was fine again, it happened.

"Shit!" - I exclaimed, getting up from the chair.

"I'm not that horrible, am I?" He teased with the can in his hand.

The concern on his face flooded me much more, and he realized it ipso facto.

"What happened?" He asked, interested, with a certain sweet tone.

"I should have called my father and Alexa, I forgot." I stopped all movement.

"You can do it, your cell phone is unoccupied," he said, pointing his gaze to my phone that was visible from my pocket.

I spent a few seconds thinking about what had happened previously in my apartament and the call from Alexa.  I was confused.

"Hey Alex, is everything okay?" Miles asked again as he drank.

"I don't know. Joh is back in the UK, I think it's time to stop this for once, " I replied confiding my situation.

"Johanna? But, i thought it was all over with her, didn't you?"

I made a gesture of denial.

"Not yet".

"Well," he returned with a complicated face. "I hope this time you finish your pending business well," he articulated, settling on the sofa where we were sitting.

"Give me a minute".

I began to press the keys of the mobile and wait for lot until finally she replied. And my eyes drifted away from Miles during those time.

On the phone

"Sorry Al, I couldn't answer before, I was cooking."

"Oh, okay," I said.

"What 's wrong?"

"It's ... I'd like to meet tomorrow afternoon, if possible," I continued softly.

"Sure," she sighed, "let's talk tomorrow."

There was a short pause

"Alexa?"

"Tell me., Alex" Answered natural

"Are you okay?"

"Well, I don't know," she snorted, "it's difficult to talk around here, it's better that we continue more calmly tomorrow.

"It's okay." I replied mildly. My pulse was faster than normal "I'll see you then"

"Have a good afternoon, Alex," she replied dry.

"Goodbye to you too"

I hung up my phone even though the call had already ended. I reached out my hand to hold it on the center table with a puzzled face. Miles noticed.

"You know, Al?" I looked at the guy as he addressed my face. "Those problems are common.

"Yes, but this is weird." I didn't expect" I said.
