When you place absolute trust in a friend the result can be unpredictable and even inappropriate.

October, 2009

NY, Rancho de la Luna Studio, California.

Miles

Helders welcomed me politely, but also with great amazement. I really didn't expect my visit. He wasn't even aware that his surprise would be at that level. When I smiled warmly, Matt was able to chat with me for a while. He told me that they hadn't heard from me for a long time and missed my visit in the studio. My occupations were a good way out of that question. Maybe I would tell them everything or so on, exemplifying what happened with Alex.

"This is incredible, man"

He raised his corners when he saw me playing with my hair unintentionally by carefully observing each corner of the study. After a while, I was aware of the other boys, who were undoubtedly stunned by the return of my presence in their rehearsals, on the other hand I tried not to take my eyes to Alex, who pretended to be "busy" near the DAW, although watching my stay from time to time. When I couldn't take my eyes off, I approached him, that would be the right and natural thing to do.

"This studio is totally full of good rock!

"Yes, I like that we're here," Alex replied, looking at some vinyl records near the interface.

Today, Alex had brought me to the recording studio of the vocalist of Q.O.T.S.A, the good musician and producer Josh Homme, who he had met on a certain occasion a while ago and who I still remembered for his musical works presented by him in some rack after a Last Shadow Puppets show, or some massive concert in London. The arctic monkeys, seeing me back among them, joked as always, and I was not far behind. They said that a positive change in me was presented by seeing me again after so much. The place is quite different from Dan's studio or James's. I focused on every detail and assimilated my emotion again. When I could take a vinyl I felt the vibration of my mobile in the bottom of my pocket, in that tris I saw the incoming call that I could not answer, but I could receive some messages understanding that they were from Agy and I came to read them immediately, but Alex was quick and curious at the same time.

"Is it your girl?"

"Yes, just for a moment," I pointed the view on the mobile screen.

As I read the message my mind was thinking about it.

>Miles, I arrived at the apartment this morning, left my suitcase here. I must go out again, I hope we can see each other for a coffee or ice cream, I would love for you to take me somewhere entertaining, I also want to take you to meet some.

I love you

I turned off the screen and returned the cell phone to my pocket. Alex continued to "busy" on the loud speaker. I thought I was fixing the sound together with Nick. I kept chatting with the guys and staring over the red-haired rocker's big rock and roll studio, but Alex came back to me. He needed to know if the situation was okay with my current girl, and he inquired decuriosusly, but softly.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yes. —I dictated restrainedly—A lot has happened since we didn't see each other, did I tell you about the Beady Eye tour? (Liam Gallagher band).

"You did it and I'm glad," he said, watching as he moved from one side of another vinyl record to the other." It's your happiness. It's been a long time since I saw you like that"—He declared.
