In which Will teaches Nico how to slow dance.

Yeah this getting so deep, Taylor can write a song on it.

Anyway, here's your story.

Also quick reminder I take prompts.

But wait!

I don't do smut.

Correction: I can't do smut.

I am horrible at writing smut so unless you want ten pages of intense "doing the do" and "smoochy kissy frickle frackle thing" in my choice of vocabulary, please don't request it.

"What do you mean you can't dance!?" Will gaped up at Nico who was lying on the bed above him.

"Aren't you, like, from ancient times?"

Nico frowned.
"I am old, but not that old."

"How old?" Will propped himself up on his elbows, his hands on his chin and the silver moonlight illuminating his eyes.

"I'm 15 but I'm supposed to be 78." He said plainly as if he was describing what he had for breakfast.

"All 78 years and you haven't learned how to dance?!" Will was now on his knees, his whole upper body leaning on the bed where Nico was lying on his side facing him.

"Well, in the Lotus Hotel, they had the huge screen version of Mythomagic with the extension packs and I wasn't gonna give that up for some stupid dance." Nico rolled his eyes.

"Okay. That's it." Will stood suddenly, causing Nico to squeal a bit as he was pulled off the bed.

He went to the music player in the corner and put in his favorite waltz.

The soft introduction to the music played as he walked up to Nico and bowed down, in an overly extravagant manner, and motioned for Nico to do so as well.

The shorter boy held in giggles as he bowed, making Will feel taller than he already was.

Will gently reached out for Nico's left hand and put it on his shoulder, his own left hand grasping Nico's waist.
They linked their other hand, comfortably holding each other.

"Get on my feet." Will winked down at Nico, watching his height rise slightly as he held in a laugh.
"You're as light as air." He giggled.
"I've caught the wind on my toes."

Nico blushed and tightened his grip on Will.
As the slow steady 1-2-3 of the waltz played, Will danced around the room, half guiding, half carrying Nico who at this point was a giggling mess.

They looked into each other's eyes deeply.
Chocolate brown swirling into royal blue.
In Nico's eyes, the starlight twinkled, swimming in his dark colour.
In Will's, the darkness around them reflected, the shadows drawing paintings on his bright canvas.

They finally tore their eyes apart for fear that staring at them too long might make it go away.

Nico sighed contentedly and snuggled his head in the crook of Will's neck.

And no one saw them.

It was a shame.
No sight as beautiful will ever be created again.
For not only were the doubts erased, but-
They were happy.

The stars glittered.
The moon casted rivers of pale.

And the music player sung out

A little night music.
