Standing in the doorway, you took one last look around your room. The bed was made, and the few things left in the closet were hung up. It looked so empty.

You were leaving today. In a couple hours, actually. The only thing you had to do was make sure you had everything and then you'd be on your way to RAD.

The room was cleaned up and cleared out, looking almost exactly as it did when you first opened this door a year ago. The only difference was that you had left about three boxes of stuff behind.

This was going on longer than it needed to, and you knew that. You were putting off the inevitable at this point. If you waited around any longer, you'd probably end up being late.

After pulling the door shut, you slowly made your way down the hall to meet up with the others.

All seven of the brothers were waiting in the entryway of the house. Surprisingly, they were all being rather quiet. Uncomfortably quiet.

Everyone had the same look on their faces too. It was obvious that they were upset. The instant they saw you though, they all forced smiles onto their faces. They were trying so hard not to seem so sad.

The only one that wasn't trying at all was Belphegor. The blank expression on his face contrasted everyone's smiles. He had that empty look in his eyes too.

After sitting your suitcases down, you looked around the room at each of them. "I really appreciate you guys wanting to stay positive for my sake and all but... you don't have to force yourselves," you laughed awkwardly.

"Oh thank god," Asmo sighed and launched himself at you for a hug. "I really was trying! I'm just gonna miss you so much."

Lucifer pulled his phone out to check the time. "I hate to say this, but we're going to be late if we don't get going soon."

"Ugh... this is awful," Asmo mumbled, giving you one last tight squeeze before letting you go to pick up one of your bags.

Beelzebub hurried to grab the rest, leaving you empty handed. "Thanks guys," you smiled, and nervously checked your phone. Even for being behind schedule, Lucifer was surprisingly calm.

"Do you have everything?" Lucifer asked, his hand on the door handle. "Everything that I could manage to fit in these bags, yeah," you nodded.

It seriously felt a miracle that you were able to fit nearly your entire room into a few suitcases and a backpack. It may have been a little cramped, but it did fit. You were going to have a lot to unpack when you got back to the human world.

Everyone slowly filed out the front door before you, leaving you and Belphegor at the back of the group.

The two of you hadn't really talked much today. A lot of your morning was spent getting your things ready. Even still, he was there helping you the whole time.

Belphegor reached out and took your hand in his as the two of you walked side by side.

"Are you okay?" You asked quietly as you gave his hand a slight squeeze. "Am I okay? What about you? You're the one leaving," he replied, looking at you like you were crazy.

"I don't think either of us are okay if I'm being honest. But we'll figure it out together. We always do," you smiled. A hint of a smile appeared on Belphegor's face before quickly disappearing. "It'll be okay Belphie, I promise," you added softly.
