Belphegor sat across from you at the large wooden table as he worked on his missing assignments. You decided that the R.A.D. library would be the best place to work on everything considering how quiet it usually was.
The library itself was massive. Much bigger than any other library you had ever seen. Seeing three whole floors of bookshelves at once was a little overwhelming, no matter how many times you've seen it before. If there was anything this library didn't have a book about, you'd be surprised.
At least now you didn't have to worry about all three floors of books. Just the books that contained potion measurements to help with the intermediate course.
"This three is supposed to be a five and that 7 should technically be a 7.4, but other than that you did good!" You slid Belphegor's paper back to him, and he let out a frustrated sigh.
He was resting his chin on the table, looking thoroughly bored. You could tell he was fighting sleep too. Given that you were working on potions, you couldn't really blame him.
"How in the hell did you manage to get into the advanced course anyways? It's kind of embarassing honestly," Belphegor huffed.
"I think it's because it reminds me of chemistry classes in the human world? They're pretty similar to me," you yawned. It was only noon, but you felt exhausted. There was only so much potions work you could do before being absolutely bored out of your mind.
Belphegor raised his head and eyed you for a minute before grinning. "What if we just... leave?"
"Leave?" You asked. "Yeah. I mean, both of us are sick of this work anyways. Let's just leave," Belphegor explained as he stood up out of his chair and stretched.
"I have to get ready for my curses and hexes class after lunch anyways," you replied in agreement, and began packing up your things.
"No no no, I mean leave," Belphegor reiterated. "Like skipping classes for the rest of the day kind of 'leave'?" You asked, and Belphegor nodded enthusiastically.
"We've been doing sooo much work lately. I think we deserve a break. Besides, we can always keep working on the missing stuff if we feel like it. But I know we're both tired right now. What's half a day of classes?"
The classes you had for the rest of the day weren't necessarily easy. They didn't have any upcoming tests though, so half a day wouldn't be detrimental... hopefully.
"Sure, let's get out of here," you nodded, and Belphegor's face lit up. "So, what did you have in mind?"
"Yes! You're the best. I was thinking sushi maybe? There's a place by the arcade that I've been wanting to go back to. I would have went there with Beel but with how much he eats I'd be worried that they'd ban me or something," he explained, twirling his hair between his fingers.
"Then we could hit the arcade after?" You asked. "Sounds good to me!" Belphegor gave a thumbs up before leading you out of the library.

After sneaking off of the school grounds with Belphegor, you made a beeline for the sushi shop. For a small business sushi shop on a Tuesday afternoon, it was pretty busy. The line ran all the way outside, but looked like it was moving fast.
"I promise it's worth it," Belphegor smiled, and pulled out his phone to look at the menu online.
"It's a little late to be asking, but someone's sure to find out we skipped, right?" You asked, looking at the menu pulled up on Belphegor's phone.
