Chapter 23

Uniquely Different

There are billions of creatures in this earth. All the species look alike. And when we observe closely we understand the art and craft of our Maker; the Almighty, we are amazed by the fact that each and every individual, be it a human, a dog,a cat, a monkey, Gena, or Yama…. the list is endless yet they are distinctive, each one special in its own way and all uniquely different.

Was Mirca finally falling for Eden? Mircaimmediately brushed the thought away.

No she can't. It was; it would be Cole and only Cole in her life.

She remembers when Sophie was hitting on Cole, which was a dare by her to Sophie.

Sophie almost drooped to the level of a whore entering his room when he was alone in almost a bikini yet Cole never spared a second glance at her.

Instead he directed her to room no.222, which was Mirca’s and expected her to have mistaken and sent her back.

Sophie returned to her room fuming and started looking at her sculpted body in the mirror-checking if her b**bs have grown oversized of her ass has cupped down to soup bowls.

“How could a guy, a hot popular guy ignore my fab body?” She screeched in annoyance.

Wherein Mirca chuckled in adorance for her boyfriend.

She got one late but he was the best.

How badly she desired him to have had some flaws at the cost of them being together. She wouldn't have been that lonely then and she sighs at the thought.

Right then Eden ruffled her hair as he passed her shouting “coming” to Marogena as she called him but not before winking at Mirca making her blush pink.

She is bound to take back the thoughts that she’d had seconds ago as she realized that she never felt lonely with Eden around and Eden had always accompanied her since Cole’s death. He was that caring, a small curve twitching at Mirca’s lips

“Cute couple” the comment broke Mirca’s thoughts as she burst her little bubble unknowingly.

“What?” Mirca asked perplexed.

“You both make a sweet couple,” Gia added. There’s nothing more she could want than to have her friend albeit her brother happy with the love of His life.

“We aren't dating.” Mirca almost whisper yelled.

“Not yet” Gia smirked as she pulled the last nail to undo the tent to march back to their homes, a mild expectation to see Aiden once they are back home with Mirca’s parents.

Mirca simply shrugged blushing and hundreds of thoughts running in her mind, all about Eden.

“Are you a fool? It was clear that they intended to leave only Mirca’s family.” Dargena enlightened Gia, her tone venomous for the first time and her other hand fiddling with the diamond motiff that she'd found from the woods

“No” Gia shouted.

“You are in denial.” Dargena turned dead serious “your best friend is so much into that girl that he’s started to cheat on your friendship he almost hid the biggest truth from you.”

Dargena’s smirk now an evil grin “did he ever mention to you that the letter sent by Yamas only stated rescue of her parents and there was no mention of Aiden in them?

Don’t you realize that whether we return or not they would be rescuing Mirca’s family due to political pressure?

Still he is making us all return only for sake of this minx.” Dargena gave one venomous glare to Mirca making her squirm under her gaze, her mouth hanging open at the revelation and her heart skipping at a beat for the guy who’d always been by her side.
