Eight: Crystal

* In which a familiar crystal comes in contact with Error.

"Nightmare, how long have I been in the Anti-VOID?" Blue curiously asked as Nightmare carefully bandages Error's arms, Blue bandaging Error's skull. "If I remember my time correctly, You've been in the Anti-VOID for seven months now." Nightmare spoke and Blue nods. "That's a long time." Blue spoke and Nightmare nods. "I dIdN't ReAlIzE tHaT yOu'Ve BeEn HeRe FoR tHaT lOnG... sOrRy." Error softly said and Blue waved his hand. "Nah, don't be. I'm actually having fun! Most fun I've had in a while before I was kidnapped anyways." Blue shrugged a bit before itching his eye lightly.

"Oh really now?" Nightmare asked and Blue nods happily. "Well with that response, I have no doubt." Nightmare shrugged at the positivity that emitted from Blue, causing Blue to giggle a bit. "Oh right, thanks for giving me my SOUL back, Error!" Blue chirped and Error just shrugged, seeing as he can't shake his head at the moment. "It'S nOt A pRoBlEm... YoU pRoVeD yOuRsElF qUiTe TrUsTwOrThY tO bOtH mE aNd NiGhTmArE." Error chirped softly. "We should honestly teach you how to portal soon. Just so you can come and visit Error's Anti-VOID... Also a quick getaway in case Error regresses during battle." Nightmare frowned, remembering the time where Error regressed in the battle. He and the gang had to retreat just so Ink and Dream don't suspect a thing. It was a good thing that they were doing a supply run that time too, who knows what would've happen to Error... And he knows Error won't be able to handle the constant humiliation from the brainless artist.

"Oh, right... I'm probably rusty from not fighting in months though..." Blue sheepishly laughed and Nightmare tilts his head a bit. "Hmm... Maybe, we could get you to train with my boys. I'm sure they need to get better themselves." Nightmare smirked a bit and Blue blinked in surprise. "Really?!" Blue gasped in excitement while Error grinned a bit. "WoNdEr HoW tHaT'lL gO." Error snickered softly. "Though before that, I might need to get a healing item from my AU." Blue frowned a bit at the thought of going back, which confused Nightmare. Shouldn't Blue be happy that he would have to go back to his AU?

"WhAt ItEm Is It? I cAn JuSt SnAtCh It." "Oh... It's... A weird thingy really. It was besides me when I woke up with no memories actually! Though you have to be careful, it tends to explode if not handled properly." Blue tilts his head while Error raised a brow. "Woke up with no memories?" Looks like Nightmare asked the question he was gonna ask and Blue nods. "Yeah. One day, I woke up in the forest of Snowdin with the item I mentioned, I had no memories and what not. Only thing I remember from then on was River adopting me as her son and Paps was soon born after." Blue hummed as he then pulled his phone to see if he could find a picture of it. "RiGhT... sOmEtImEs I tEnD tO fOrGeT tHaT yOu'Re OlDeR tHaN sTrEtCh." Error sweatdropped and Blue grumbled a bit at that mention. "Eh, couldn't be helped." Nightmare was growing even more concerned. "There's definitely something going on with Blue's AU." Nightmare couldn't help but quietly mutter to Error, who nods in agreement. "Aha! Found it!" Blue then showed Error the picture and Error gasped a bit. "OoOh! PuRpLe!" Error exclaimed happily before blinking. "I fEeL lIkE i'Ve SeEn It BeFoRe ThOuGh." Error tilts his head. "Really?" Blue asked and Error nods. "No MaTtEr, LeMmE gEt It." Error spoke, opening a portal to Blue's room and carefully looking around. The AU was still partially destroyed too. He then quickly saw the item and then stepped in and gently picking it up. It was small, roughly two feet tall. Error blinks in surprise when he saw a beam shoot towards him, but it didn't hurt. "Oh hey! Looks like it heals you too!" "It's a healing item?" Nightmare raised an eyebrow as Error closed the portal and sets it down. "Pretty much yeah, though for some reason it only works on me, Undyne tried to check if she could replicate the amazing healing potential it has but it just ends up blowing at her face, instantly killing her... Quite a lot of times Chara had to reset because of it so now I just tell that it's a souvenir." Blue spoke as Error sat down in front of it. Quite entranced at the floating purple cube with what looks like glass edges floating around it. The floating magenta-purple cube having hot pink runes etched on every surface and it's just floating in a circle. The supporter of the crystal was a grayish square block thing with a lighter gray that looks like a stone etched on the edges. "WeLl It AcTuAlLy FeElS... pReTtY nIcE. i DoN't EvEn FeEl My MaGiC tReAtInG iT aS pOiSoN!" Error chirped and Blue grinned. "That's great! I don't know how but hey, at least someone else gets healed by whatever that thing is." Blue spoke while Nightmare walked towards it and inspected it. "Don't touch it, I don't want you to get exploded." Blue pouts lightly and Nightmare nods. "Well, it seems to only work on you and Error, a shame that it won't work on us, but if it works on Error as well, it's enough for me." Nightmare hummed and Blue grinned happily. "WhAt Do YoU uSuAlLy CaLl ThIs ThInG?" Error asked and Blue blinked, narrowing his eyes a bit. "I usually just call it a Purple Crystal since it kinda looks like one." Blue slowly nods and Error nods. "HeHe, PuRpLe..." Error chirped and Blue smiled. Nightmare just couldn't help but chuckle at Error's fascination with the color purple.
