Eighteen: Reason

* In which we find out Hero's reasons

"So... Now that we've settled, can someone please explain what the hell is happening?" Horror spoke. They were now all settled in the makeshift comfort area in the Anti-VOID. Nightmare trying to hide the fact that he's hella jealous over Blue hugging Herobrine. "Right, like... How the hell does Blue and Dream know you-" "You're talking to a Deity dude." Cross quickly smacked Dust who grumbled childishly while Killer snickered softly. Dream just sheepishly laughing. "I actually met him when I was taking a break in an AU to gain Positivity." Dream explained. "As for how Blue knows him... I don't know." Dream spoke softly, glancing at the sleeping skeleton on Herobrine's lap. Error was just leaning against Nightmare while humming softly. Eyeing Herobrine warily despite the familiarity.

"So, Mr. Herobrine. Care to explain... Please?" Cross awkwardly spoke while Herobrine laughed softly. "Please, drop the formalities. I may be a Deity, but I'm still a human, a being like you all. And feel free to just call me Hero. I insist." Hero grinned lightly and Dream smiled while Dust sighed in relief. He'd rather only be formal towards Nightmare really. Killer and Horror nods while Cross hummed, taking in the information. "Okay... Now please, explanations." Nightmare sighed softly and Hero hummed. "Let's see... Let's start with where I'm from, yeah?" Hero smiled and Nightmare nods. "Well, first thing's first, I'm actually from another Omniverse." Hero began while Dream sputtered. "Wait- seriously?!" Dream gasped and Hero nods. "That specific Omniverse is actually waaay more older than this one. This Undertale Omniverse." Hero explained while Error snickered a bit. "OlD fArT." He muttered. "How rude." Hero chuckled softly, Error blinked, but then smiled softly when Hero didn't get mad at him for calling him that. Dust and Killer snorted while Nightmare and Cross prevent any laughter. Horror and Dream's just laughing. Of course they are.

"S-So- So, if you're from another Multiverse, then you're looking for something th-then? I'm pretty sure no one would go to even another Omniverse just for a silly thing like a visit. Especially since you're a Deity." Dream spoke after he had calmed his laughter and Nightmare nods in agreement. "You are correct, Dream. I was, in fact, looking for something... Or someones more rather." Hero sighed softly. "Two of my family really." Hero hummed. "Honestly, I know one of them is in here, but I don't know about the other one." Hero added while Dust nods lightly. "We could help you look for them if you want!" Dream chirped. "Well, I'm only looking for the littler one really." Hero sheepishly laughed. Honestly, he only had a short time to skim through the codes of every AU, and he only found Blue's. "Actually, it's one of the reasons why I went here. I wanted to see any missing stories that was inaccessible before." Hero spoke while Blue yawned. "Is that why you're holding Blue?" "Yes and no, I already know Blue is one of my creations." Hero spoke and the gang + Dream sputtered. "What?!" "I dIdN't TeLl YoU gUyS?" Error asked. "Wh- No! You didn't!" Killer pouts and Error sheepishly laughed. "ThE sTaTs SaId thAt BlUe WaS nOt MaDe In UnDeRsWaP, sO i FiGuReD tHaT hE wAs SoMeThInG oR sOmEoNe ElSe'S cReAtIoN." Error said and Nightmare sighed softly. "Honestly, that explains why Blue is always different. In a unique way I mean." Dream spoke while Blue narrowed his eyesockets at Dream. "Well, that is to be expected from a God." Hero laughed lightly while Nightmare and Dream choked. "A GOD?!"

"Wh- Huh? When was I a God...?" Blue slurred as he rubbed his eyesockets. "Ever since you became my creation, Blue." Hero softly said and Blue blinked. "Wh..." "You see, in my world, there's two main bosses. Which are also technically Gods. They can die, but they'll never permanently die because they just end up what we call respawning. Or can be just resummoned again." Hero spoke. "Humans, or what we call Players, hunt them down for loot and exp. But unlike your world, we don't have LVs, ATK or DEF. Just Health or HP, Hunger and Armor." Hero explained while Error stayed silent before gasping. "MiNeCrAfT!" "Yes Error, I'm the Deity from the Minecraft world." "Wait- Then that would mean that you're the legend!" Killer exclaimed, suddenly grinning happily with a squeal. "Holy shit that is so cool! I'm a big fan!" Killer was now bouncing in his seat while Dust chuckled. "He is a big fan." "Is it because I'm also known as a mass murderer?" Herobrine raised an eyebrow while Killer squealed. "YESS!" Killer exclaimed while Nightmare raised a brow. "You are? Wait nevermind, don't answer that." "Well I mean. Being a Deity of Balance, you control both balances." Hero chuckled while Blue smiled lightly. Dream was just enjoying the positivity emitting from Killer really.

Blue then sat up and then shifted a bit before leaning against Hero. "You recovering your memories, hun?" Hero softly asked and Blue softly asked. "Will... Will I be able to access my old form...?" Blue whispered quietly. "Since I removed Fate's grasps on you, yeah." Hero whispered back and Blue nods. "WaIt- YoU cAn ReMoVe ThE sTrInGs?" Error asked hopefully and Hero chuckled. "Yeah, I've already removed Fate's strings on each and everyone of you while you were settling down. Plus, it heavily loosened since Fate was taken to the prison of the VOID." Hero hummed and Error grinned happily. "NiGhTy! We'Re NoT fAtE bOuNd!" Error exclaimed happily, shaking Nightmare a bit who laughed. "I know Error, I know." Nightmare chuckled while Dream gasped a bit. "Wait- If we're not Fate bound then... I can finally expose Ink!" Dream exclaimed happily. "Blue we can expose Ink!" "Hell yeah!" Blue brightened up at that and now the two were squealing.
