"B, you need to start packing. you leave in 5 days," i demanded to Billie while she laid in the bed watching The Office.

she grabbed the remote and paused the tv and looked at me. "i think i know when i have to leave my wife," she sighed sadly.

"oh baby don't do that," i said crawling on top of her to straddle her. "hey," i started while grabbing her hands. "we're gonna have to start sooner or later baby so cmon let's get you packed," i said, getting off her and pulling her up.

she groaned and got off the bed, dragging to one of her many suitcases she had here since she's been here for months. i grabbed one as well and we both threw them on the bed. her phone began to buzz and i went to grab it for her off the dresser when she stopped me.

"no! i got it!" she yelled running to the phone before i could get to it.

"um, okay," i said looking at her weirdly. she began typing away on her phone and i just brushed it off and continued to pack her things.

she looked up at me and ran towards me, throwing her phone on the bed. "hey hey hey!" she exclaimed, snatching one of her air jordans out of my hand. "bro you may not care about your shoes but you ain't finna be stuffing and creasing mine up in there like that," she laughed, trying to adjust the way i put her shoes in the bag. this girl do not play about her damn shoes. i playfully rolled my eyes and let her put her shoes in there herself.

"see this is how you properly pack the shoes G," she said in a playful condescending tone while packing her shoes with gentle hands.

i glared at her with a smile. "girl fuck you, i'm sitting down you can have this shit," i said laughing and going to sit on the bed.

"wait! go check on the cinnamon rolls, i think they're ready," Billie said eagerly, stopping me from sitting down.

"never seen somebody so ready to eat some damn cinnamon rolls," i laughed while getting ready to walk down the stairs.

"hey do you wanna use your crutches?" Billie asked me kind of concerned. she doesn't really like the fact that i haven't been using them anymore but she trusted me when i said i didn't feel like i needed them anymore.

i went downstairs, carefully holding on to the rail and took the cinnamon rolls out of the oven and put em on a plate to bring them back upstairs for Billie and i to eat in our room. i lifted my injured leg to step on the first stair of the staircase and felt a sharp pain in my thigh. it hurt so bad that my whole body tensed up and felt paralyzed for a second, causing me to drop the plate of cinnamon rolls, splattering the glass everywhere around me. "ahh!" i yelped, grabbing my thigh.

"baby!" i heard Billie yell from upstairs. she ran to the doorway of our room and saw me at the bottom of the staircase, frozen and surrounded by glass. "oh my god!" she exclaimed, running down the stairs to me. she walked pass me and jumped over the glass. she had slides on so she could risk it, plus she's not crippled like ya girl.

"okay stay put right quick," she said heading over to get a broom. she swept the glass up and threw it out. she also picked the cinnamon rolls up and put them on another plate. our floor clean so shut up. "okay come here my love," she said in a baby voice as she stuck her arms out for me to lean into so she could pick me up and carry me back to our room. she so cute omg. she placed me on our bed and put her hair into a messy bun before taking a deep breath. bitch i'm not that heavy damn.

she continued to pack and was folding a pair of her sweatpants when she asked "babe how did that happen?" in confusion until she realized i was holding my thigh. "omg Gianna see i told you walking without crutches would put too much pressure on your damn leg!" Bil snapped at me. i just rolled my eyes in annoyance. like i get it but do you have to fuss at me right now? like honestly. "you're gonna walk with those crutches bro, i'm not playing," she said sternly.
