Y/N's POV

    'Oh boy how can I tell him I was with a boy without him getting overprotective?? Think Y/n think?, why is my mind blank!!' "I'm waiting young lady" Skeppy said as he had his arms crossed and looked at me "waiting for what?" I said as he began to tap his foot, I sigh "fine I'll tell you!" I said as I saw him smiling as if he was never mad in the first place "well you see.. the reason I ran off was because I had left my necklace behind and" I began to say as he just stood there listening

As he nodded his head in agreement "uh huh go on" he said as he looked at me "well I went back since you know that the necklace means a lot to me so I left to go find it, and- and I looked everywhere for it but I couldn't find it and- and" I said as tears formed in my eyes as he gave me a hug and looked down at me "it okay Y/n the reason I said it was because I see you are wearing a shell type of necklace that i know isn't yours and you did take longer than I hoped for and you look like you got splashed with a bucket of water" he said as I looked up at him and held the necklace "well since I couldn't find the necklace a guy came and asked me if I needed help on anything and I said I needed help finding my necklace and he- he accepted, and he began to help me and told me he spotted the necklace in the water and as he was reaching out for it then he began to slip and-" I ranted out

He soon stopped me "slow down slow down slooow down you said a 'guy' helped you!?" He began 'oh boy' I thought "yes a guy but don't worry he is gone now, but thanks to him he helped me find my necklace, I only thanked him and we just talked for a bit then left that's it" I said as I smiled while holding my locket necklace "hmm what his name?, did he touch you?, do I need to investigate him? Do I need to look for him?" he said as he showed his over protective dad side 'he may not be my biological father but boy he sure does act like it' I thought

As he ranted out "Dad, dad DAD! It's okay nothing happened between us, no harm was done okay? he was kind, sweet, gentle, a very friendly guy, he was nothing but nice" I said as I smiled at every word I described him as "Hmm gentle? What do you mean gentle? Did he- did he kiss you?, did he-, did you-, OH GOD please tell me you guys didn't!?" 'Oh god' I thought "NO NO NO EW NO!, Dad! No we didn't I said GENTLE because he help me put on my necklace THATS IT!, nothing else!, gosh Dad that's gross!" I said as I turned around not facing him "hey Y/n look at me.. please, I'm sorry I- I just thought that-" he began "No Dad I thought you knew better than that I'm not that type of person!, My FATHER raised me well, I'm not like those OTHER type of people, I don't just see guys I just met and kiss them, now if you excuse me I need to change" I said out of pure frustration as I walked to the wagon

Skeppy's POV

As I stare at Y/n walk to the wagon I couldn't help but sigh "why can't I do anything right!" I say as I looked away from the wagon "why everything I do make people mad at me, I was just trying to help" I continued as I walked to the river near by as I looked at the water in front of me "I just don't want you to suffer anymore" I whispered as I sat down and just stared at the river in front of me "I need to go to Y/n and ask for forgiveness I can't lose her, especially at this moment that we are looking for her father" and with that I got up and began to walk to the wagon and see the food has been untouched and so I grabbed the plate and faced the wagon as I see Y/n walk out the wagon as she just finished changing "Hey Y/n I need to talk to you.." I say as I watch her look up at me

    "I'm really sorry ok" I started to say as I gave her the plate of freshly cut fruit which she mumbled a thank you "Look I'm sorry Y/n I'm sorry I- I You know your like a daughter to me and I've watched you grow since you were a baby, I just... I just don't wanna see you hurt, seeing you crying hurts me and knowing that you just met someone I was already jumping to conclusions without hearing what you had to say, I'm sorry for over reacting" I said as Y/n put her plate on the table once she did that she came to me "Dad it's okay, I'm the one who was also over reacting I got frustrated when you kept asking those types of questions and I got mad not thinking about how you felt in that moment, you were just asking me simple questions I could've easily answered, but instead I just ignored you and said stuff and left" she said as she looked down and hugged me "I'm sorry Dad I didn't mean to act like this I just miss my father a lot" she said as she pulled away "hey.. don't worry about it kiddo you know any body would get into a protective mode when it's about a certain thing or about a certain someone" I said causing her to giggle
